I saw 4 once or twice, and I forgot how awful and bizarre it was. When was Landis in the film? I totally missed him. Great job as always and I agree fully on 4, even though Norma comes from the novel, and in Psycho 1. In psycho 1 Norman screams " I'm Norma Bates!" right before trying to attack Lila. And I am surprised you guys didn't talk about the original Bates Motel with Bud Cort here.
It's okay if we miss Bud Cort because we talked about 100 other things that everyone else woulda missed had they done something like this. So you gotta take it for what it is.
Yea I know Norma was already her name, I just dont like it at all and didnt mention it till this one because the name was most prominent here. We talked about 200 other things in the part 1 review. I cant squeeze everything into each review.
Thanks glad you liked it I had the most fun doing Part 1 and 3 reviews

And I am a little curious as to where Jamie heard about Gein's mom talking about fat girls, I must admit I have never heard anything about that regarding Augusta Gein lol. I gotta admit, your retrospective has got me wanting to get the PSYCHO retrospective, and fuck the remake. i saw it once and said " Well, that was...huh. That sucked". Though, I do find it kinda funny that in 4 they did a nod to Ed Gein by having Norman use the name Ed. And if i am not mistaken, didn't the original house burn down in an accidental fire prior to 4?

I believe her too, but I just found it pretty funny considering that Augusta was out of her damn mind hahah. But yes, the house was either burned completely down, or mostly down eventually. It was used for storage, but has now been restored up at universal.
