Excited as hell. Full Marathon + First episode in amazing "Black & White" as well as behind the scenes and sneak peak of season 3. Now what more can a man ask for if you eat, sleep & bread The Walking Dead series. This is definitely a weekend to look forward too. Calls for a celebration on my end . Any one else joining the fight or looking forward to the Season 3 preview.

Unfortunately, I'm not watching the marathon because I'm in the middle of watching some other movies. I'm definitely going to check out Talking Dead and the black and white episode though.

I don't have cable. So I have to do the whole torrent thing. Which is slower than cold tar for me. So I'll wait until after several episodes into the actual season before I invest the limited internet I have to watching. I am looking forward to October though. I hope my internet holds up that long so I can see new episodes that way. It's a lot better show than I thought it might be back when I heard it was being made. They've gotten to do and show way more than usual for a non pay cable show. I haven't heard. How did the ratings do during the second season? Obviously well enough for a 3rd season. But is it still a hit or is it even close to being in danger?

That's damn impressive. Glad to see quality can be rewarded by viewership.

Real sorry to hear that IFdude. Ratings just keeps on flying off the charts. Which makes it not going no where for a while. Man was the sneak peak of Michonne intense. And the black & white viewing is purely memorable in many ways, really happy to see the first episode in black and white. Classics always brings back memories. Its just a treat for the viewers.

Part of me wanted to watch but I'm so uptight about not catching any spoilers I try to stay away from anything they're doing right now. I can't wait until next month when the blu-ray is released for Season 2. I'm gonna watch the whole damn thing to prepare for the next season. too bad it's in October though, i barely have enough time to fit in all the movies I'll watch as it is.

Small Town Security just put me to sleep I tell you. I had no idea what the heck that was. But when you are a hardcore Walking Dead fan, staying awake is a must just to see that Season Premiere Trailer again, "And the THRILLS just keeps on coming". Did anyone else catch it, if so what you think about that trailer, what you saw that stood out. Man Merle took that trailer. I was going to post it earlier since I saw it a few days ago during the Comic-Con but wanted to see it again.

I loved the little preview. I wonder just how closely this will follow the comic book. Because The Governor does some things in the comic I seriously doubt they'd show.

Why is Andrea sick? Wouldn't that be messed up if she was pregnant with Shane's child.

It looked to me like quite some time had passed. Andrea made a comment about helping Michonne get through the winter. So I'm guessing she is getting over a severe cold or flu. One that's given her a severe fever. Because Michonne gave her the aspirin she picked up after killing some walkers earlier in the episode.

Yeah thats true, you make a good point Stinger, wouldn't that be a bummer. The season 3 premiere did broke some records, I'm not surprised, man that thing was insane to the bones. Everywhere you look record is breaking, torrents, everyone is talking about it (school, work etc). I walk into the deli yesterday morning all I see on the newspaper is "The Walking Dead Premieres Tonight 8/9c" & one HELL of a Walker poster and the effects on it is Insane!!!, could not pass on picking it up. was on the front page of 2 newspapers (I can't recall if it was the Daily News & New York Post). I picked it up but have no clue where I stored it to confirm. compared to the second season premiere.....wow, enough said.

The season premiere was insane. The amount of things going on is great and they are moving the story along at a breakneck pace. It really is one of the greatest shows on television. It deserves the ratings and accolades it's been receiving.

The comics are pretty far ahead. I think you'd all like them to a degree, especially some of the things that happens to the main characters.
I've seen a few episodes, and while it's entertaining, it isn't something I eagerly await. I guess having skimmed the comics, I sort of know the direction it'll go. Still, I'm glad AMC does have it, as it'll encourage them to indulge in Horror more. The fact that their Fearfest schedules have been better since The Walking Dead aired is testament to that, I'd say.
