I liked the film. It was by no means perfect, but they tried. I thought the vampires in the film were excellent! They kinda had that 30 Days Of Night feel IMO

Too bad Haim is not in it also. Did anyone see that show The Two Coreys? They talked about it. I was so surprised that Haim was the whiner of the two. I saw Feldman a few years back on Surreal Life and thought he was a jerk, but Haim was on this show. I watched "The Two Coreys" until I got tired of them complaining all the time. I thought they were both whining quite a bit. I'm certainly glad they sought help from the psychologist. This trailer does not look too bad. However, it is disappointing that they changed the location to Luna Bay. Did the vampires move? Did the Frog brothers follow them? I personally liked the first movie location being Santa Carla, and love that it was actually Santa Cruz, which is an awesome place. Second, the vegetarian comment seems, I'm not sure, either out of place or a weak attempt at humor (?).

This movie was on TNT about a week or two ago. Ugh!! I was so disappointed. I had a hard time sitting through it. . .and believe me, I tried.
The original film had better actors (Keifer Sutherland, Dianne Wiest, Jami Gertz, etc.). The actors in this movie might have done better if the script was written better.
I could not finish it, so I do not know how it ends. Maybe I am just biased because I love the 80s film!

That's the problem with sequels like this. Poor writing comes from the fact that they tried to force a second story where one was not necessary. The end of the original didn't need a sequel just another case of sacrificing quality to make money.

He's been turned into a vampire.

So they finally showed Haim at the end, huh? I thought he didn't get cast. I missed Feldman's appearance, too. What did he do?

I have no clue. I haven't watched it either. ;D Well at least not much of it. I only know about Haim showing up because I was flipping the channels and just happened to stop about a minute before the film ended.

From what I've heard he's not in it very long either.

I don't think it was even 30 seconds.

Now I'm glad I didn't sit though it just to see his part.

It would have been an even more waste of time.
