I'm not a fan of Superman, be it comics, movies or anything else, although this one looks like it could be really good. I doubt I'll see it in the theater but I'll probably check it out when it's on dvd or if it airs on HBO.

lol I'm kind of iffy about comic book movies these days. There's been some phenomenal ones, but there's also been some real stinkers. I still can't believe I spent actual money to see the Hulk!

The Hulk was horrible.
Yeah, the Spiderman and X-Men series are good.
I liked Batman and Batman Returns. Batman Forever was decent, but Batman and Robin sucked. Batman Begins was pretty good.
I never saw Daredevil or Fantastic Four but I heard they sucked.
Hopefully the new Superman will be in the "good" column for me.

I've never seen X-men, Dare Devil or Batman Begins. I didn't think Fantastic 4 was that bad though. I grew up watching the other Batman movies you mentioned (I'm 14).

I will not pay to watch Superman, there's too many religious undertones and I'm not into that... besides that fact that superman is a dork and now he looks like one... I like the 80's Supermans though...
I loved X-Men 1-3 I loved BatMan returns, possibly one of the best movies in the last 3 years IMO. I liked Spiderman 2 a lot I HATED Hulk horrible..... never seen the others.

I persoanlly love the superman movies. At least 1 and 2.
I just saw Superman Returns and loved it! I is up there with the best of the "comic book" films, like x-men and spiderman.
Also saw the Spiderman 3 trailer at the movie. looks pretty good.

I liked all the movies mentioned above. I haven't seen Fantastic Four yet though. I noticed in the previews James Marsden from the X-Men is in this new Superman movie.

I saw it. I got a copy of the Daily Planet while I was there. It was a little freebie they handed out, actually I had to ask for it. It seems like every other scene I'd have chiils go up my spine. Routh is Superman. Plain and simple. He's got an uncanny resemblence to Reeve in a lot of scenes, especially the very last scene (wink-wink). Great movie. Not just a great superhero movie, but a great movie period. Spacey was excellent as Lex, a bit comedic like Hackman, but not as much. He also had a darker, maniacal side. Although I think the best Luthor ever (aside from the comics) is from the animated series. But Spacey was great. I won't say much. Leave some surprises. And I do mean surprises. Even I wasn't expecting a couple of things. I kept myself from reading spoilers and junk. There is a quick scene on TV where a certain "city" is mentioned. A very dark city I might add (wink-wink). That's all for now. Now go see it!!

I thought the movie was simply okay. Nothing special about it in any way. Lame story, good fx = okay. They should have started the whole fuggin thing over again instead of builiding on the previous movies.

I never saw Daredevil or Fantastic Four but I heard they sucked. Daredevils a great flick! Fantastic 4s allreet as well. They aint no Spidy flick but FF is way better than Hulk and I still enjoy watching DD now.. Old Supes films were superb untill quest for peace.. I think if we didnt have Smallville, a lot more people would be hyped about the new movie.. I think its took too long in the making to gain excitment plus with Smallville on the tv its gotten to be Superman overkill.. too much of a good thing all at once is never good. I still wanna see it but im in no rush.
