Here is a preview from this week's show:
Gotta love Rick Steiner. Sorry!

Yeah he's freaking great. I'm actually looking forward to this feud. How often do you see dream matches like this these days? I mean 2 of the most decorated tag teams in wrestling History. Of course it would be cooler if their first meeting was on PPV. But I also understand wanting to try and get ratings.

How long has it been since the Steiners were a tag team?

Probably a good 10 years. At least in the mainstream. They've done some Indy shows on occasion in that time. But they haven't tagged together since WCW days.

I just read that Jeff Jarrett's wife died.

Yeah. She's been battling it for a couple of years. May she rest in peace.

May God rest her soul. Always sad to hear of a cancer death.

Bad news for TNA and Steiner...
Scott Steiner suffered an injury to his trachea during TNA's house show in Puerto Rico over the weekend. He is scheduled to have surgery soon, possibly as early as today.
Steiner is scheduled to reunite with his brother, Rick Steiner, in a match against Team 3-D for the TNA Tag Team Titles at the Slammiversary PPV. That match may now need to be changed. It is not known how long he will be out but one would assume that he won't be back for awhile.

- Scott Steiner had successful surgery on his trachea today. He remains in Puerto Rico because he won't be able to fly for a few weeks. TNA is trying to arrange to get him back to the U.S. via another mode of transportation.
- Still no word on what TNA will replace the Steiner Brothers/Team 3-D Slammiversary match with.

I guess Steiner took a boot to the throat during the match from Apolo. He thought he was o.k. but about 2 a.m. his throat had swollen so much he was having trouble breathing.

Steiner is so accident prone.
He also has drop foot syndrome, which makes him clumsy.

I'm pretty sure this accident falls clearly on Apolo's shoulders. He's known for being stiff and sloppy in the ring. And Steiner has had his leg operated on as far as the drop foot syndrome goes. He had it done in between his time in the WWE and TNA.

I can only imagine getting a boot to the throat.
Good to hear that he is a little more agile now.

I find TNA more entertaining than WWE. My only complaint is their matches need to be longer.

Right now they are trying to get 2 hours a week. Hopefully it happens. Then they'll be able to put on longer matches on free t.v. like they are able to during their PPV's.

I just watched Impact, and that has to be the best match I have seen in a while.

Abyss sure knows how to sell a beat down.

Abyss could sell refrigerators to eskimos. He's one of the best wrestlers at selling. That's one of the things that makes him so impressive. Most big men can't sell to save their lives.

It's also that he knows when to sell. He ranks up there with other big guys like Vader, Andre, One Man Gang, Quake, Undertaker, etc. who use this same method of selling.

I actually think he's better at selling than at least half of those names. The only ones who are his equal would be Quake Andre and Vader. He's the best big man in years.

Samoa Joe is wanting out of TNA.
I read that he would be willing to accept an low level spot in WWE.
