None of the local libraries owned the original Wolfman or Frankenstien. It pisses me off

You could always rent them. If you have a Hollywood Video you should be able to find them there. Both of the Hollywood Videos in my area carry Frankenstein and the Wolf Man.

I hate to beat an old lady with a stick to get it, but I did:
I just watched the original Wolfman (after watching Halloween 6 to get into the horror mood) and it was awesome. I am SO buying it!

it was a surprisingly good special effects job for the 40's. I sorta felt sorry for Larry, though. I guess i should go rent "Frankenstien meets wolfman" before another old lady tries renting it!

Just go and get the monster legacy sets. You know you are going to anyway. We all did. I remember when I got the Legacy Gift set that has the Drac, Frank, and Wolf Leg sets and the busts (which is on top of my book case right now). It was at Blockbuster, three days before official release date, and I saw it there. It was 2003, before the film Van Helsing came out. I asked the person working there, "Are you guys actually selling that yet?" I asked because stores can get into trouble for breaking street dates, so I think someone messed up and put it out early. THe guy looked at me like I was nuts and said, "yeah." I was like, "I'll be right back." Five blocks and ten minutes later I came back to Blockbuster with money and got my monster set (been lovin' it ever since).

I think we can see how Popular the Wolfman is by the length of this thread. Not even Dracula has 5 pages! I may watch it tonight myself. I really relate to Larry Talbot.

The strained relationship with his Father. And having to control a monster. I have anger management problems myself. Sure it isn't comparable to becoming a werewolf. But it has been a struggle through the years. I'm definitely controlling my temper better now than I was 10 years ago.

Wow, thanks for posting Demon. I never noticed how different he was in House of Frank and Abbott & Costello Meet Frankenstein.
