I must confess, I haven't seen the movie. Well then run don't walk to your local video store and rent it. Or better yet buy it if you have the money. Because it is that good.

Or did you accidentally buy 2 copies? Because if it was the former there's really no sense. I don't think it's that hard to get a copy of it. So it's not likely to go up in value enough to warrant having 2 copies.

I gave it 1 star. I couldn't stand it to tell you the truth. On top of hardly being able to sit through it, changing the Sawyer family name entirely is blasphemy in my opinion. It didn't freak me out like the first one either.

I wonder what the deal was with the little kid in the movie trying to help them escape? I don't understand how the kid could be good and somewhat normal having a crazy family like that.

I wonder what the deal was with the little kid in the movie trying to help them escape? I don't understand how the kid could be good and somewhat normal having a crazy family like that. I don't think he's blood related. I think like Leatherface he was adopted into the Family. Or maybe like they tried to do with the baby was stolen from a victim. Who knows maybe he was a recent addition and hadn't learned to think like the rest yet. He's not in the prequel neither was the skinny bald woman with the baby who was with the fat woman. So it's obvious they add to their family or accomplices over time. They could easily add more movies in between the prequel and the remake. I think they should have at least one more that leads up to the girl hitch hiker getting picked up in the remake.

I rented it tonight, and the stupid DVD was faulty.
From what I saw, I didn't like it all that much.
Andrew's Leatherface was too jacked up and intelligent.
Jessica and R. Lee were the best parts of the movie.
We also didn't need to see his face.
I gave it a 3, but that is pushing it.

Yeah, in real life and in the movie Full Metal Jacket.
He made for a very sadistic fake sheriff.

This film is a great remake, I saw it on TV, the ending was cool, Leatherface is one guy you wouldnt want to meet in a dark alley.
this film gets a 4.

This is one of the Remakes that is better then the original. It was WAY more less confusing. Had a reason for everything.

For sure. One of the best remakes out there IMO. Had a better story and needed to be re-lived. Marcus Nispel knew what he was doing and he didn't hurt the original. I'm glad he didn't try to re-create the hitchhiker scene, theres no way you can re-create Edwin Neals performance.

Not a bad remake but it still doesn't come close to the original. Of course, few movies do. I give it 3 stars.
