for myself, it was the music that sold it for me as a great horror movie. i'd say we'd have seen Jason and the other slashers even without Halloween. but thats just a hunch.

The problem with me when it comes to the Halloween movies is I never watched them in order. I was confused at times but of course I liked them. I need to get these movies out and watch them again so I can rate them too.

Actually I had never seen a Halloween movie until about a year and a half ago. I just started watching them as they came on TV. I have them all recorded but most of them were on channels with commercials.

I've seen them all now and thought they were great movies. I don't have a clue why I didn't watch them a long time ago like I did Jason and Freddy. I'm going to watch them again in order whenever I get a chance so I can rate them on this site.

Come on, it's "Halloween"...It's classic!
Donald Pleasance, Jamie Lee Curtis, Michael Myers in his first film, the atmosphere, the music...
5 out of 5...It's "Halloween".

watched it again last night. did you ever wonder what the limits are to Mike's strength? he dug up Judith's tombstone and carried it into the wagon then later he carried it up a flight of stairs to the bedroom. plus, he lifted Bob up and choked him with one hand.
