???I have to admit I love this installment. The intro to the film was dark and creepy. The feel of the nice safe cuddly town, all of a sudden being without power, a mandatory curfew, just beiing throw in to utter chaos. Due to one man!!!!! The entire police force being wiped out. Basically being backed into a corner with little means of defense just made this one evry bit as creepy as the first 2. I give it a four because their was one thing missing. To me the lack of the original score took something away for me. But that is my own opinion, I feel a score can make a movie. Dont know if that makes sence?

What a huge leap between part 3 and 4. I think part 3 is pathetic and entertaining, part 4 is actually both really good and entertaining and i loved the ending. 4/5.

Excellent remake of the first two. Michael appeared to be reaching Ted White levels of rage during his attacks against the couple in the house, the lynch mob, and the EMTs. I have to admit that the preacher's references to Armagedon seemed to suggest that this was supposed to be the end of Michael Myers, yet somehow Thron infects him during an unspecified time in his life. And, I guess we are all in agreement about the twist ending which drives Loomis into near-pscyhosis.

I give it a 4.
It wasn't up to par with the first two, but the performances were great, and the gore was very well done.
Donald Pleasance put in a stellar performance.

An awesome return for Michael Myers and as always, a great performance from Donald Pleasence who very well may be the greatest horror movie actor to ever live. 4/5

This is the point where the Halloween sequels really started becoming Friday the 13th sequels in disguise. I enjoy this film on an entertainment level. It has some scary scenes like Jamie's dream. I must give it a 3 though. I mean, Halloween III was very creative and told a very good story and was scary, while this film went back to the basic "same old shit" formula that basically all the horror movies did in the 1980s.

That's true. But I for one love the movies that stick with the "same old shit" formula...not that I don't like movies that try to be different and inject something new into the genre as well.

Same old shit is a good thing when the story is good.

Exactly. It's like people who say the first few Friday the 13ths were just the same movie shot over and over again...a killer murdering a bunch of horny teenagers. But that's exactly what the fans wanted! Just look at how the series went to hell when they tried to change things.

So true. And the people saying that never looked at the story for each one. But then again those people who usually say that don't like horror/slasher movies anyway.

You moving picture of Jamie inspired me Halloween11. WHat do you think? Now this is where true talent and artistic ability shows.
