They made a lot of mistakes with this one...No real heroine to fight for survival; They kill off Rachel (Ellie Cornell), who was so great in part 4; They started pulling the 'add more people just so we can kill them' technique of the later "Friday" films; I didn't really care about anyone in this movie...and they started that whole mysterious, smoking cowboy cr*p!
I give it a 2.Kinda silly. The whole plot was kinda weak but its still Michael and Loomis so that alone warrants a 2.The comedy of those 2 cops was ridiculous and Jamie was kinda annoying.Just not as good as the others bottom line.Michael crying, gimme a break.

I told the others, they didn't believe me. You're all doomed. You're all doomed.
You let him drown. You never paid any attention. Look what you did to him. Look what you did to him.
Most consider this the worst of the Halloween series, and it probably is, but at least it wasn't Part 3 with no Michael Myers. Dr. Loomis saved this one, and you can easily see that when compared to Halloween: H20 and Halloween: Resurrection. No Loomis = pointless. Michael Myers becomes just another psychopathic murderer without Loomis to explain Michael's motives and psyche. Also, yeah, the crying Michael Myers was kinda lame, but the Man in Black has to be the most ridiculous contribution to this series. Stick with the basics people, don't add this super complex stuff to it, it'll turn into a soap opera pretty soon.

I dont consider this to be the worst in the Halloween Series. That title for me goes to Halloween: Resurrection. I think Halloween 5 is a good movie. I enjoy the car scenes in the field and also the laundry shoot scene. I think a different Director would of saved this movie.
