I am a true fan of the series. Halloween 5 is enjoyable, but probably not the best in the franchise. I will go one step further and say it was the worst in the series ;D BTW Welcome to CLAD! Happy to see another Halloween fan here.

I think its safe to say that Halloween Resurection is the worst of the series

I think H5 up there with House 2 and Troll 2. Ressurection is just bad. The thing that makes 5 so bad is all the potential it had that it went nowhere with.

H-5 would have been much better and make more sense if Jamie was the killer.I really can't understand why they ignored such a perfect ending to part 4.

EXACTLY... just another thing that makes it the worst.

Pretty much how I felt. Why have that ending then have her ruin how great her part was in four by acting like a retard through most of the next film? Way to take something good and ruin it with horrible writing. ;D

What studio? I thought the Halloween films were independant until The Curse of Michael Myers.

Resurrection is worse, but H5 is nearly as bad.
The producers saw the cash coming in and rushed out whatever they had ready without thinking things through.

I think 5 is a masterpiece next to Resurrection. I probably won't ever watch that movie again.

Yes! H5 is a masterpiece compared to H8(but I'll get to that piece of crap)! The top two things that piss me off about part 5 is how the two cops got their own goofy theme music and Tina! Oh she's the biggest shit stain on the Halloween series!

Alright, here is the list of things I don't like in Halloween 5:
-The mask -The house -The faceless characters -The awful writing -Tina (deserves her own mention) -The clown cops (deserve their own mention -It looks as flat as a TV movie, as it wasn't shot in scope -Girard's directing -Adding the Thorn symbol and the MIB when they had no idea as to how that would work out (leading to the mess that is H6) -Rachael going from a strong protector of Jamie to a dumb down and underused character who was cheaply killed off -Meeker also getting underused -Even Jamie and Loomis were misused

I give it a 0. Worst horror movie, since the Rob Spera's Witchcraft (1988).
