The story was rather inventive and this was the first time since Halloween III when the series actually used some hystorical beliefs of the true meaning of the holiday in the films as a part of the story telling. Of course the boogeyman is scarier as just being the boogeyman and does not need explanation, but I like how they used Hallo-history to do it. It gets a 3.

I didn't like this movie, it felt too rushed, way many too things happened where I just sat there and asked myself, wtf? From the start of the movie they give no leway from Part 5 and it always seemed like in that movie everywhere they went Micheal was always there. whats up with that? the guy was like a magnet to everyone, and I felt the movie was too rushed, but it still deservers a 3/5, some parts still scared the crap out of me

The Curse i gave a 4. I liked Michael's character alot in this one. He was so angry and brutal. The deaths were gory and he went on a small rampage in the hospital. That and Loomis alone gives it 4 stars. I did not like the director's cut of the curse. I did not like the whole Michael fathering Jamie's baby and the Thorn thing. I also did not like the characters in black. Are they dead? alive? deadish? and the ending to the director's cut yuk! The un-director's cut is so much better and the ending is good.
