Absolutely terrible! It was like watching a new age horror teen flick.
The way michael cheated death was terrible. It was like the way Anne Wilkes was describing the cliff hanger movies in Misery. When you know there is no possible way for him to return but he still does.
Rappers in horror movies? no no especially when performing karate. And the ending was weak.

I hadn't thought of that before, but the comparison to that scene in Misery is dead on. Good one brandi.

Resurrection wasn't good. But i can still watch it. The whole Kung-Fu Busta was stupid. I liked Tyra Banks though. The Myers mask looked great. 2.5 I can still watch this over RZ's Halloween anytime. Ya know what truly sucks about busta Rymes being there is that he compromises LL Cool J's great performance in H2O.
LL was absolutley PERFECT in H2O, he gave a great performance and it was an excellent casting job! He was right for the role and he fit right in! Let's not forget the fact that he is an actual actor! A real actor... He was also big in the 80's which gave it a good feel as well. Yet now that Busta had to be in 8 for some reason it makes the genral thought "Oh god another rapper in Halloween movies..." meaning that now LL Cool J maybe should'nt have been there either.... That's one main reason I hate the fact that he's there. He also played to the camera too much while LL was very real and you can just tell he knew what to do. LL cool J did an awesome job in H20. he's character was believable. Busta's performance was a joke. LL and Arnold are my biggest inspirations for pumping iron.. I've been pumping hard these days. Like if i'm in jail or something.. I've gotten way bigger than i was a month ago. I got my ABS rock hard..now i'm working on my back. Halloween Resurrection gets a 2.5 from me.

Even if I watched it again, I wouldn't find any redeeming value to it.

The only reason i gave it a 2.5 was for the Myers mask. If i didn't like the mask..i would rate this 1

This movie was ok, the acting was terrible though, I never believed any of the characters for a second and the ending sucked 3/5, just behind H2O

I only own 1, 2 and H20. But if I were to get any of the others it wouldn't be one of them.

That's true. It amazes me that a movie like Resurrection can get so much TV time when many horror classics are rarely seen on the boob tube. I mean, when's the last time you saw A Nightmare on Elm Street or The Texas Chainsaw Massacre on cable?
