This poll is REALLY to test the new poll features Demon so kindly added to the forum (they work perfectly, BTW) but I also have a question for you guys: do you like the Curse of Thorn Michael (H6) or before the Thorn crap? (H1-H5) I like the Thorn crap LOL

you like it but you call it crap? ;D
I have a feeling Regular Michael will dominate this poll
also part 4 and 5 could also be considered Thorn, since it led up to part 6, with H20 and H8 not being Thorn

Regular Michael...and I'm talking straight from the first one, where it is all mystery and you can come to your own conclusion what his motives were and what he was. Every incarnation afterwards just explained away more and more of his mystique.

Every incarnation afterwards just explained away more and more of his mystique. I understand that, but the thing is after a while, you have got to explain more to keep the product viable. People will not continue to buy mysterious Michael after mysterious Michael for eight movies. You have got to give people more if you want them to buy more. They simply had no choice at some point.

I understand, sequels need to explain more and more, have something new to draw the crowds in. But Michael from the first one is my favorite version of the character, regardless.

I don't agree with that. If they left Michael a mysterious killer rather than turning him into a thorn puppet,i truly believe the entire serious could have been better and scarier like the original first 2 movies were,Take out the sister thing too.I mean he already killed his sister when he was a kid, they should have left it at that.
I love the original film, its perfect to me.

If there was no sister thing there'd be no Thorn because the Curse of Thorn is when a "man kills his family for the good of society."

Great you just proved another reason why the Sister aspect was stupid. And made me hate the Thorn storyline even more. Happy? ;D
