thats if you don't count the alternate ending, but yes that was the last time we saw him, its too bad we couldn't have seen him comfront Michael one more time but i believe he was just too weak due to his age to do any kind of action scene at all and thats why we never get to see what happened

I disagree, I think he was supposed to die in the story but they didnt think it would have been in much taste to show him get murderd by Michael.

Didn't he die during the filming or production of the movie? That would explain why they chose not to show him die on screen.

This is the final frame Dr. Loomis was ever in (except for a shot of his picture) in any Halloween Movie ever. A true legend.

Donald considered Farrands initial script for Halloween 6 to be the best one since the original.
After how the film turned out, Farrands said that he was glad that Donald didn't see the final product, saying that it would have given him a heart attack.
