I gave it a 5. I loved the story. There was alot of un nessasary humor, but the plot took care of that.

I just bought the boxed set. My only complaint is the 3-D which strained my eyes in about two minutes. The damned glasses did not help matters either.

I'll admit the 3-D didn't work very well on the DVD. It also gave me a bit of a headache.

I find 3-D to be overrated in general. It also added nothing to Friday the 13th 3-D. In that particular film (and others), it feels like they are just shoving objects too close to the camera, forcing me to focus harder.

I would say this is a horror comedy, Freddy's lines were funny and the kills were creative, its good to see how he got his dream powers, those dream demons look odd, but they past the test, the thing that makes it worth watching is the background story of Freddy's past.
4 from me. ;D

Hands down the worst one in the series. I'd have given it a 1 if not for the back story shown in this film. That brings it up to a 2.

This is my favorite one in the series, excluding the final 10 minutes where he's in the real world, that finale is just ridiculous and stupid. But the music video tribute kind of made up for it...
I'll, one day, get around to posting my defense of this film and why I think it is not deserving of the negativity it gets.

One out of five. Horrible movie, the plot was alright we discover that Freddy has a daughter and it's interesting to see that but overall this film was a total disapointment. I mean the death and nightmare scenes are ridiculous, the acting is so cardboard like and it's more of a parody of a horror film than an actual horror film. Plus it made one of the greatest horror villians look like a contender for the D-List against Kathy freakin Griffin. Bad all the way I only have it to complete the series but besides it being a filler its bad. Bad, bad, bad, bad, horrible!

The kids in this movie were so lame. The wannabe tuff girl the def kid who reminded me of Teddy from F13th4. The wannabe cool blonde kid...
I just liked Freddys daughter. Id do her...

I always loved the background info this one provided. And seeing Robert in the flashback scenes without make-up was nice.
