Oh I know V, but the point of the thread was wether or not he's a pedophile, we know hes a child molester. *Reads entire thread* Oops, my bad Wolf Anyway, I'm not completely sure, New Line considers Freddy's Dead canon and he had a wife and child, but that doesn't completely eliminate it...I think we could actually be at this forever.

I vote yes. Maybe a child molester isn't necessarily a pedophile, but that's irrelevant. The point is the same. He sexually abused children and anyone who does that is sick and demented. We were talking about this at HMAM and some people didn't think Freddy was a child molester as I suggested.

I think the reason for that Chemical, is that yes, it while it has been strongly implied by the ANOES films, we do not have a final word from Wes/Robert, etc. And strongly implied does not equal evidence.

I voted no. Freddy enjoyed killing children,i don't remember anything suggesting he enjoyed having sex with children. So no.Not a pedophile just a child killer.

It was in one of the movies. Actually 2 now that they've had Freddy vs. Jason. In part 4 or 5 he's labeled as a child molester in a paper clipping. And in the scenes in the beginning of F vs. J you see him being more than a little sexual with the picture of his latest victim. He molested the little kids then killed them.

Thats the reason i was hoping the studios could get to an agreement and make a prequel..explaining this more clearly.
Maybe you right Kyle, the photo licking in FvJ was borderline pedo.but then again in that same scene he doesn't have sex with the little girl, he takes out his glove and immediately kills her. So its really hard to decide..
In Freddy's dead in the backyard scene,Freddy gave me a slight impression that he could be capable of molesting his own daughter.
The bottom line is that Freddy was one sick sum bitch.

I think he may have done it before killing her in F vs. J. I think the studio had enough taste to not show that. So they went with the more subtle way of showing his sickness. And yes he is a sicko. LOL

There's the theory that he's "attracted" to the killing, and it would be easier to overpower and kill a child. Maybe that is what gets him off and not the children themselves.
I've always believed his range of victims were young children to teenagers, considering those are whom he frequently targets in the films. But whenever children are involved, that becomes the primary focus, everything else is just discarded.

I voted yes. And I have proof. Wes Craven himself said on the DVD that Freddy was a child molester (SP?) and killer.

Lets think about it. He captures kids and takes them to an abandoned boiler room. If he wanted to just kill them he could have done that right on the spot. He captures them and takes them to an iscolated place. I think he rapes them then kills them.
