Wow he is so wrong about how he rated Mr. Freeze (Otto Priminger) he was the best by far! The others were a joke.

Because Otto was supposed to be quite a jerk IRL. So of course they judge how he portrayed him based on that. I say base a performance on the performance. Not the person doing it. Otto is by far the best Mr. Freeze EVER. I could care less what he did outside of the role. Unless his actions personally effected me then who gives a shit? As for my picks. Joker, Penguin, Egghead, Riddler, Mr. Freeze (Otto), King Tut and Catwoman.

I agree with Kyle, it's amazing how it's obvious too me Kyle and XN that Otto was superior to the others playing Mr. Freeze yet he only got 2 stars based on his personality.
Do you know how badly they put him down? This is from the main Batman 1966 site on the net for the last 10 years. "When we ran over time, the director would decide what [to cut]," recalled dialog coach Milton Stark. "I told him [Preminger] we have to cut some of his speeches. 'You're taking out my best lines!' he said. I started to laugh. He asked 'What [are] you laughing about?' I said, 'How many times have actors said that to you?' He laughed and said, 'By G-d, it's true, you know.'" "Otto Preminger: you can have him," noted makeup man Lee Harman. "They were smart. They hired a director [George Waggner] that was older than Otto, that had done a lot of things. Otto didn't like anybody being touched up and this guy just said, 'Hey, you're just acting in this. I'm directing it.' He told him who was the boss; we all loved that." Otto Preminger was too-far-over-the-top in his portrayal of Mr. Freeze. For camp to work best, all roles had to be played perfectly straight, as Neil Hamilton did Commissioner Gordon so successfully throughout the series. Anything else and the show began to stall. BatBits: Preminger had a problem to solve before appearing on the show: he owed $11,000 in back dues to the Screen Actor's Guild.

Do you have a link to the main batman 1966 site? I can't find it.
Like what you and kyle said D,Otto was the best freeze.I don't think its fair to Judge him by the way he was outside of acting- rather than the actual performance. 2 stars don't fly with me.

I only voted 2, The Riddler and The joker. Even though Ras Al Goul is not on the old show he should be included, he is one of my favs.

Do you have a link to the main batman 1966 site? I can't find it. www.1966batfan.com/index.html[/color][/quote] Yea man it's a shame. The sad thing is how all the fans go along with it. I guess they feel like insiders once they read that stuff and feel like they should agree. Its almost like new Friday fans feeling like they have to hate Warrington over the whole "real Jason" fiasco. Once you gain insider knowledge it's can be harmful to you if it's used the wrong way.

Very well said guys. If I let a persons personal life effect my ability to enjoy their work I could never watch TOS of Star Trek because Shatner is supposed to have a huge ego. Same with being able to watch any of the Indy movies. Because Ford is supposed to have a fairly poor sense of humor. The people that use gossip to hate an actor amaze me. Guess what? Theses people are human and are allowed character flaws. We all have them. Otto was perfect as Freeze. If he was an ass about lines I could care less. Hel he could have snorted coke off a dead hookers ass and it wouldn't phase me. ;D As long as I enjoyed his performance that's all that matters to me.

I did not think the Riddler would ever have the top vote. Usually these polls go the way of The Joker.
