I think that looks great. I'm glad they went with the traditional Red and green sweater. Hopefully they don't show too much of the face.Let that be a surprise.

That was one of the best things about Nightmare 1 and 2, the face was mostly in the shadows until he was right in front of you.

The director said that something special was in store at Comic Con. I have faith in Haley since I know he can play Freddy better than most. But Robert still will be Freddy. I heard that the makeup will have some of his jaw and skull exposed. That just sounds gruesome. believe it or not but taht is what freddy was supposedto have always looked like. but the make up in 1984 wasn't as ad vanced as what we have today.the best example of freddys concept look can be see on a poster of freddys revenge where jessie hugs his girlfreind and the relfection is of freddy.so most likely freddy will resemble that.

That was one of the best things about Nightmare 1 and 2, the face was mostly in the shadows until he was right in front of you. Yeah keeping him in the shadows also made him seem more like the boogeyman and alot creepier.

I am really starting to get tired of all the remakes myself. This is one however that I will be seeing in the theatre since other then Freddy Vs. Jason, I've never seen Freddy on the big screen.

There's nothing like seeing these guys on the big screen. The experience is more complete when you see them like that.

It's really going to bring back great memories to see Freddy on screen again. I felt the same way with the Friday remake.

Hopefully it'll live up to what it could be, and they don't got he route they the original franchise did with the later films.

. What's next, a Zombieween sequel? Hey, I was right! ;D Those sideshots of young Freddy and the fact that Wes Craven isnt taking a liking to it has gotten me worried. Although that poster is pretty wicked. I have mixed feelings about this....

i have the most important question of all about the remake.
will there be a goat in it?
there was a goat in the original and FVJ
whats with the goat?why was it there?was it some sort of represention of something to do with dreams?

well the goat is just menat to be bizzarre. it ahs no meaning at all. the goat only appeared in fvsj as homage to the original. craven was going for a sci fi type of horror. Like hellrasier

i figured FVJ was an omage..just thought the goat might have been a greek or mythological symbol for something

Yeah but wasn't there a goat in one of the original Nightmare films, for some reason I think there was.
