What i like about it the most is that it's not overdone and it's a very scary imagine without freddy looking like jason in a sweater.

I hope that (What the figure can't really show) is that they make his face more...wet (Like The Creeper in JP2). I don't know why, but having an outline of his face show in pure darkness is awesome.

Someone who I know who already read the script in it's entirity had a bit to share with me. Instead of Freddy being a child killer he is a child molester. Big difference in that. And he made the glove for a gardening tool? ? I hope that last bit comes off better than how that sounds.

It sounds likely that it'll be tweaked. It being a gardening tool is stupid. And wasn't he a child molestor in the original films?

Nope, very much a child killer in the others. He made te device to scare and torture and kill the kids of Elm Street not sexually molest them. May not come off as a big deal to some but it's a huge difference in terms of what that means in general.
EDIT: Even after his death, he never molested anybody in their dreams. He did what he did in real life, He killed the children of Elm Street unmercilously. Now if the new version has Haley killing still and not molesting none when the script is suppose to be Freddy has a child molester, technically he is behaving differnetnly in dream land compared to his actual life. Plot error.

Yeah its never out and out said he was a molester in the original series, it was hinted in a way that you could take some of his comments one way or the other. Its hinted to pretty heavy in Freddy vs. Jason, especially when he has Laurie in the final dream where they're in her house and he's running his claws up the inside of her leg and bringing her nightgown or whatever she was wearing up.

What do you think about the why he made the glove part? Somewhat hinted in that movie. But the original 7 movies it's not really hinted at all really. I guess we'll see how this turns out. I'll reserve judgment when I see or I can get the gist when all of you see before me

In part 1 he licked nancy when he was on the phone with her he also said in Freddy vs Jason in that same scene " Ya know i've always had a thing for the whores that lived in this house" It's more than likely Freddy was a pedophile or at least a perv.

Here is the official poster for the Nightmare On Elm Street Remake released today. I just have to say eh. The older ones were much more creative. I don't know what it is with Platinum Dunes and their posters they look the same. They just put "the killer" and blow it up to be the main image of the movie instead of any imagination and mystery at all. But that's just me. You decide

I do agree, The remake poster is awful. I mean he is giving off an emperor palpatine ( the mean old wrinkly prune in the Star wars films) vibe with that pose. Tho, it does give off a nice pic of Freddy.

Wow, Freddy is amazing here. I love the line where the kid goes " Oh god" and Freddy says " No...Just me" I'm actually excited

The poster looks exactly the same as the one for the F13 reboot.
Even the font of the text is the same.
However, that doesn't mean that the movie will be bad, just that the promotion is lazy.

That trailer was awesome except for when Freddy is stretching through the wall, this did not need to be CGI. I do love the line "Why are you screaming, I haven't cut you yet"

Eh, I am not going to judge this movie based on this trailer. Anybody can make a trailer look better than a movie. I was reading elsewhere the voice sounds like Rorchshack, is there a movie I am missing somewhere? The voice doesn't tickle me even without knowing who that is. Lots of compilations from the original. Royal CGI alert with that wall scene. I predict it will do well at the box office with the curiosity factor. I guess sales afterward will determine its fate.

Rorsach was a character Jackie Earle Haley portrayed in the movie The Watchmen.
