good review demon. i liked dark knight but to me the ebst batman film was batman 89. it was just a fun movie and if you don't compare dark knight to begins r whatever it's a pretty good movie

Thanks, I agree about what you said. If you don't compare it too BatMan begins then yea it's a good movie. However it's a follow-up. You can't make a movie so perfectly crafted like BatMan Begins and then follow it up with a poorly put together movie like this though.
Don't get me wrong a lot of cool stuff blew me away in TDK. Yet even those gadgets and such just couldn't save it from being less of a movie then BB.
Also saying it's good but you shouldn't compare it is like saying "Well it's good if you don't know how much better it could have been" haha. Unfortunately I DO know how much better it could have been... BatMan Begins is how much better.

yeah BB was perfect. although i don't like how nolan has been using scarecrow. if done right scarecrow could hold a movie with a secondary villain. infact the end of the dark knight reminded me of spider-man 3 in spider man 3 they had this huge ass build up to venom then boom venom come sthen venom is gone. they did the same to two-face. everyone thought two-face would be in the next batman movie guess not now

I sure hope not... I wont even watch it if he's is supposed to be the one who entertains me for 150 mins! Good Lord... they just didn't know what to do with that charcter. Nor did they cast him correctly IMO.

Wow...Demon, that is one badass review!!
I will have to agree with what you've said about this movie...I think what I liked most about this movie was The Joker's presence. I was happy he was the villain...As for Heath...He was a good Joker.....Not God status good....What angers me about a lot people is that they begin to give a sh*t about someone only after they're dead. Why is that?!?!?

It's human nature man... it isn't anything new. Great examples are Elvis, John Lennon, James Dean, Kurt Cobain and Marilyn Monroe. However they were all much more established then Heath. There legend status was really valid. The least of the group would be James Dean and Kurt Cobain. Their careers were too short. Dean only made 3 movies and Cobain only made 3 albums. Of coursed they squeezed about 6 out of Nirvana but they weren't official albums.
Anyway good turns into great when people die. I just hope when I die people say I was the greatest message board admin ever ;D #24#

Wow. I don't think there's much of anything we agreed on about the movie Demon. I agree about the setting sucking. I would have loved to see the Batcave again. I also agree Maggie sucked as Rachel.
But I loved Two-Face. Both when he was Harvey Dent and after his face got screwed up. I hated The Joker. It was a great character. But that wasn't the Joker. He didn't have any real back story. The look sucked and I don't care if people think he was like the comic. That's complete B.S. I've read probably dozens of his appearances in the comics. I didn't see a trace of that Joker in what Ledger was playing. Other than being crazy. But then again most of Batman's villians are crazy. That's why so many of them go to Arkham Asylum. Ledgers portrayal of "The Joker" was an abomination of the character. If they called him something else I'd probably have enjoyed it more. Kind of like JGTH would be a better movie if they hadn't put the Jason character in it. Right now he's on the absolute bottom of the heap as far as Jokers go. Romero, Nicholson and Hamill all have him beat by a wide margin. In fact I don't consider him as having played The Joker. He played a crime boss with weird make-up.
