Hmm I guess if someone else can do that Joker voice and all then it wont be hard to replace Heath. It seems easy to get that look back.

Oh yeah...It's Hollywood..They'll do whatever is necessary to make some $$. If they want to bring The Joker back, he'll be replaced...I don't think it would be that difficult....The voice might be a little off...But the look is easy to achieve.

Yeah. I'm making a Dark Knight spoof and then a Joker spinoff. The makeup only costs about 15 bucks total.

I think if they took out Two-Face and just had Harvey Dent as a politician and didnt really focuse on him after the kidnapping and were able to keep Katie as Rachael, the movie woulda been an 8.5 instead of a 7.

If they didn't have Two-Face at all I'd be pissed because I'd have to wait another 3 years before we can see him ;D

I give it a 4/5. The Joker was amazing, Two-Face was amazing, Batman was amazing, Rachael Dawes...wasnt. Like a lot of you here, I couldnt stand her, which is why I give it a 4.

Harvey Deny/Two Face was pretty much the only thing I really enjoyed about the film.

I'm contemplating writing a review for this film. But right now there is so much horror i need to review that i haven't reviewed yet.
The only thing i liked about "The Dark Knight" was the Joker.I connected with the character.I know so many other fans say the same thing but i'm not joking around here, and i'm not like the other fans.
I also hate my father.

It's funny after that Cesar argument I ended up HATING this guy even before I saw the movie. It made me sick to my stomach the way people were praising this guy when all they know about him is Broke Back Mountain and that he is dead. There isn't a huge Knights Tale following here at CLAD.
I thought he didn't deserve any praise so soon and still don't. It was too much too soon. People got too caught up with this dying thing. However while watching him I gotta say besides the technology gadgets in the film, he was the ONLY interesting thing about the movie. Every single other character including BatMan bored me to death. Good Lord was that a poorly put together movie. The character writing REALLY suffered.
I am not saying it was Heath who made the Joker so entertaining... it really was the writing. But I'll gives him props, he took great writing and brought it too it's highest potential.

Demon, you gotta understand, I didnt like him just because he died. I was crazy over him even before he died, and I never said (or at lest I never remember saying) he was the best Joker before I saw it. On another note, TDK has officially passes Spider-Man 3 and will get a place in the Guiness Book of World Records

I saw this when I was on vacation and liked it. Ledger really made it for me though. The rest of the movie was good, typical modern day superhero stuff, but Ledger, like Nicholson in the original, made it great.
He was awesome as a heel and it was one of the finest performances of a bad guy I have seen in quite a while. Very believable and intense.
I give this movie 8/10.

This movie is a little overrated. With the death of Heath Ledger things have gone mad! I keep thinking to myself "Is everyone loving Ledger's portrayal of the Joker because he died or because he was actually good?" So I saw the film on July 20th, and he didn't disappoint.
But there were many things that annoyed me about this film - In the scene where Joker's attacking the police truck, the driver says such obvious things like, "This is not good!" and "Is that a bazooka?!" which really got on my nerves. Also, Batman's voice was a bit.....gruff. Sometimes it sounded as if he were speaking bat lol. and if it's supposed to be based in the real world, how did Batman grapple on to the Batcopter from inside of a building so quickly when he was capturing Lau? Well, I guess realism can only go so far.
Overall, it did not quite live up to my expectations, but I can say one thing - Heath Ledger wasn't in it. The Joker was. 4/5

Great observations. I wouldnt even rate it a 4 though. You can see my rating and review a few pages back. Seems like you'd agree with lots of it.

It was an impressive review, d3mon. I agree with most of it, like how Ledger didn't beat Romero but did beat Nicholson, and how Maggie was a let-down. But some I disagree, such as the Two-Face character being boring. I found him to be interesting, and I loved Aaron Eckhart. I guess thats mainly because he was my favorite villain from the comics, and sometimes I wish they casted him in the 1960s series. I also have to disagree with the ending being bad. In the comics, Batman was never looked upon as a great hero like heroes like Superman or Spiderman. He was considered an outlaw vigilante, and should have been considered a bad guy throughout the entire film. I'm not sure from your review whether you liked Batman Begins better, but I certainly did.
