Its 84% at RottenTomatoes which is great for me. This is turning out to be true to the GN...I hope. I got tickets for the first showing in my IMAX theater.

I just saw it on IMAX and well it feels just like the GN. The only thing bad was some bad music placements other than that its 5/5.

As expected, it was the top movie this weekend, making $55.7 million.
This is impressive given its running time and how that limits the amount of screenings.
All IMAX screenings were sold out as well.

Watchmen is the only GN to ever win a Hugo award and the only one to be listed on Time's 100 best novels since 1923 list.

I never posted here??!! Anywho, I saw it and it was absolutely amazing. The action scenes were certainly badass. It didnt do the greatest job of making the "superheroes" real characeristics, but it captivated me enough to block out any sort of glitch! I plan to see it again, this time in IMAX!

what I love about this movie was just how much different it is compared to any other superhero movie you will ever see
sure its rough around the edges but if gives you this sense of that the superhero's dont always win and that they dont always get along either best superhero movie I've ever seen besides TDK and the original Superman 10/10

In the latest of what feels like a flurry of unfortunate movie theater incidents, a 24-year-old man in Eugene, Oregon shot himself in the head while taking in a late-night Watchmen screening at a Regal Cinemas. According to a story over KMTR.com -- which was passed to us by Cinematical reader Ian G. -- it was about halfway through the film when theatergoers heard a "popping" noise, and it was shortly after that when the man was discovered in the back of the theater with a gunshot wound to the head. The closest audience member was two rows away, and there were about ten folks total in attendance. Currently there's no word on why the man chose to bring a gun to the screening of Watchmen and decide to shoot himself halfway through. www.cinematical.com/2009/04/06/man-commits-suicide-while-watching-watchmen/Jeez. Well it was a "mind-blowing" movie.
