I knew the film would be terrible. Anime does not do well when turned into live action, that's why it's drawn the way it is, because it allows the artists to do more.
Tim pretty much nailed all the bad. But the ending was kind of ridiculous, mostly because he begins a Kamehameha Wave... but winds up doing a flying fist thrust. That right there killed me, I almost choked to death from the barrage of insults my throat wished to release!
As for DragonBall Kai. I'm all for the idea. I loved DragonBall and DragonBall Z (DragonBall GT was awful) growing up, but now that I own the box sets and see it, there is a lot of wasted time and filler. With DragonBall Kai they eliminate that and so the action happens much sooner; the actual series is over 240 episodes, but DBK cuts it down to about 100 - THAT IS A LOT OF FILLER.

ok So Dragon Ball Z was really the first Manga/Anime that I had gotten into, and I fell for it hard, I became a hardcore fan. Well Dragon Ball was good and.. mentioning GT to me would be suicide, I hated it, well anyway. My Brother wanted to drag me to this movie, and he was pretty excited to see it. Me... I was scared.. Well I saw it, and ehh it was ok at the most, would I ever want to see it again.. no, would I ever think about seeing it again no. I'd rather forget about it and move on, lol

Yeah, DBGT was fucking awful, I really try and finish watching it, but I can't, I simply can't! I never seen the rest of it, just the last episode, witch was pretty good! Yeah Jess, just for get about it! It's the best way, but there are people actually wasting their time bashing it and letting this movie ruin their lives? Check this YouTube channel! CLICK HEREOh yeah, check this video out! ;D

I loved the Baby Saga in GT, IMO he was a good villain, other than that GT sucked.
As for the filter in DBZ, well lets just say my favorite episodes are when they are at peace like when Goku and Piccolo race for their driving test.

I loved the Baby Saga in GT, IMO he was a good villain, other than that GT sucked. The Tuffles angle was interesting, but it wasn't carried out too well. I disliked a lot of the standing and talking, which was annoying. The one thing I did like about DragonBall GT was the brief return of Emperor Pilaf from DragonBall. There's nothing wrong with episodes like that, because they aren't stalling for time. That's why they have filler, to give the Manga time to expand before turning it into episodes. Most Anime comes out a year or two after the Manga begins, and each episode is roughly two Manga chapters, so it does not take long for them to catch up or pass their source material. Back on the filler in DragonBall Z, the episode where they go get their driver's license is fine. But episodes like when Goku was fighting Frieza, and all we heard was, "5 MORE MINUTES UNTIL THIS PLANET EXPLODES!" for 20 episodes, and Goku's "Ergh! I... can't... win, but... I must... try! Gohan... I will try to win... for you, ergh!" gets annoying. The entire Garlic Jr. Saga was filler, but I enjoyed some of it. To me, the Spice Boys are cooler than many lackeys any villain had, with the exception being the Ginyu Force for Frieza. Besides, Garlic Jr. was always my favorite villain. But again, they didn't have to wait for anything to happen, they were just making stuff up as they went. This doesn't stay true for the actual Sagas based on the Manga, and it shows.
