Thanks XN! Hey about the new gif banner you have. What kind of porn is Ron Jeremy doing? I've heard he's done almost anything in porn but removing scalps? ;D Just in case he changes it before everyone gets to see what I'm talking about. Back on the movie you are sharing. It sounds cool. I'm downloading it now. You don't see subbed films that often on torrents. Or at least I don't see them too often.

No problem Kyle! Yeah that guy does look like Ron Jeremy doesn't he? ;D It's not Ron Jeremy though its Frank Zito from the movie Maniac.
He also was in the first Rocky movie. Before Rock made it big in boxing he was working For Frank's character as a small time enforcer.Frank was really in the Italian mafia in New York. He died from natural causes in 1974.I'll have to track this one down when it comes out! It's actually hard to keep up, your gonna have to make list of all your movies that you review, Doc! Its worth tracking down Tim!

Incredible film. I don't know if I'd categorize it as horror though. Definitely more of a love story. One thing I'm wondering. What was the relationship between Eli and the man who was supplying her blood? He was obviously her Renfield. I wonder if she met him back when he was Oskar's age? It says on IMDB this is based on a book. I wonder if there is an english version of that book?
Thanks for sharing it Armin. Camper killed.

I'm really glad you enjoyed this movie Kyle.I definitely agree with you,the old man was Eli's Renfield.I'm not sure, but i think he might have indeed met her when he was her age too and fell in love? I never read the book but i heard that its really good.
What makes this movie so beautiful to me is the relationship Oskar and Eli shared. Oskar finds, in Eli, someone who will listen to him and someone who will love him because he feels out of place in the world.Eli finds, in Oskar, someone who does not judge her for who she is or what she has to do to survive. More than anything, this film is about young romance and about how one person can change your life forever, for good and bad.
The cinematography is gorgeous and some of the shots are just so brilliantly composed, it brings tears to the eyes. The score is haunting and the pacing of the film is absolutely in keeping with what it needs to be. I heard that Hollywood is already planning a 2010 remake of Let The Right One In.But i don't think its going to be as good as the original at all.
Camper Killed for you too Kyle.

You described how I viewed it exactly. Well said. You heard right. According to IMDB they are making a Hollywood version. I really don't think they'll be able to do it justice. Barring someone involved in this version being part of the Hollywood version. Another thing I found quite original about this movie is a vampire story finally showed what would happen if a vampire isn't invited in.

Now i can actually understand Bela Lugosi's Drac and films like Fright Night better. As far as the Hollywood version goes,i really can't see another actress playing the part as Eli. The only American actress that comes to mind is the little girl who played Evil Alyssa in Silent Hill.
But shes way to old to play Eli now.

I think they'll have to find a girl we've never heard of yet to play the part. Because like you said I can't think of any known actresses that can do the part justice. Honestly I'm more worried about them understanding the nuances of the filming. I don't see how they could film a new version that would be as effective.
