What's the big deal anyway about seeing proof. its like you feel the wind you don't see it but you know its there..i love Jesus and everything about him even if I'm not practicing right now. but i had many experiences with him and he never lets me down. i had more people tried to make me not believe in him than to believe in him..and thats so sad. but i guess thats how the world is now a days. it feels good to know that hes there to protect and help us and give us peace and when times are rough that's who i always go to make me safe again and feel confident that hes watching over me.. there were alot of things i asked help for and he always came through and if they weren't given to me is because they weren't good for me.. i asked for someone in my life to help me and love me and always be there someone who Will always understand and be my friend. and as always he gave me that person right out from heaven and i love him very much hes just what i asked for after all the people i had in my life who hurt me he never will and if he did is not intentionally is out of love and caring..and being truthful with life and i thank him for that so i have to believe. and guess what i always will.

Wow Wow Wow... Goo... I uh mean Lilevilwitch ummm.. Remember Tommys post? Try to be RESPECTFUL! Calm the **** down! Okay guys I'm opening this up for posting. Hopefully no one will insult anyone or cause chaos. We have a great group of members so I trust everything will be fine. I should have opened it earlier actually.

Thanks wwe, look lilevilwitch I like you and I'm sure other people do too. But when this thread was opened for posting I knew it would be sensitive because of the subject. Yelling at us and stating "There is no God or Jesus" as if it's a fact and were all idiots is not exactly what I had in mind by be respectful and Don't cause chaos.
When you speak of things like Jesus Christ and God and religion, making a joke about it is not the aproach you wanna take. Well not if you wanna have people respect you and treat you as an adult, which every still seeems like they are trying to do. Telling us you worship squirells and that shadowy demons talk to you at night is'nt respectful to people.
So please don't get so excited when people disagree that Jesus is fake and so is God. We are all entitled to our beliefs and can post them here. Just do it in a respectful manner oaky?

She says there's no God, but she blames him for everything wrong in her life.
Also, there's someone called Satan, it isn't just God, and he makes life miserable sometimes.

I HATE GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HES THE REASON THAT EVERY THING BAD HAPPENDS IN LIFE its his foult that he made my life misarable Ya know it's funny when you're 25 (like me) only then can you see the things a 16yr old would say and think, damn did I sound that ignorant? I'm not sure I felt the same exact way as goo does, I don't think I could ever hate anyone including God as much as I hate myself for the way my life turned out. Or where it's going... Funny she uses the word miserable... at 16 do we really know the word? Can someone sitting in a comfortable home typing on her computer after watching Halloween movies truly have a miserable life? Last time I checked misery was a state of mind one in her position wouldn't know. At that age the only misery in your life is what you made it. You see misery for me are those nights I can't even think because I'm wondering if I'm gonna have rent money 4 months from now because I know my company is closing down. And this time you're not getting those big $320 unemployment checks because you are a contractor. Misery is when you try to drink away your problems and find yourself out side leaning against a wall somewhere with tears in your eyes realizing that life isn't a fairytale. It's not made of the dreams you had for yourself... it's hard concrete. It's driving up to a funeral home to say your last good-bye's to someone you looked up to your whole life and who always made you smile. Misery is not being able to eat because you screwed up your whole life because you never cared about school when you were 16 and now that the bills come in you wonder why your bank account has had the same number in front of it for over 4 years. And you know even that number Gets lower next month. It's a lot of things... things a lot worse than what I mentioned. But don't ask me... ask the guy who see's a rat lying dead and for 2 seconds that rat looks like it'll be better than anything he ate in the last 3 weeks. Ask someone who came back from Iraq with two stumps for legs and no eye sight. Ask someone who had to watch there husband go from 210 lbs to 125 in a year while the cancer slowly killed him... ask her while she's throwing the first fistful of dirt over his coffin before they lower it into the ground... Whatever problems any of us have, with the exception of death and accidents are problems we probably made for ourselves. So don't blame God, be a stronger person then that.

The only person who makes one's life miserable is yourself. Unless you are a defenseless adolescent, or mentally incapable you have the power to change your life.
If you don't like your life, make it better. It's not hard and certainly not impossible.
You are your own God. You tell yourself what to do, and you find inspiration and motivation to do it. Noone will physically give you that.

Well everyone has their own mind and thoughts and what you put in it is on you..thats why we are all different in our own way..if you believe you believe if you don't you dont..But i chose to believe i feel safer that way..god never did anything wrong to me. if anything went wrong in my life i never blamed him he knows whats good for me..but if you chose not to you're free to do so. i know i don't see you as a mean and nasty person cause you dont..maybe one day you will who knows..

I voted yes.
However, I believe that a good portion of the Bible is made up and/or imbellished for dramatic effect.
I haven't gone to church since I was 16, and never plan to go back regularly.
I do work for The SA, but I have limited faith in organized religion in general.
Some days, I think The Da Vinci Code makes a point.
I have no choice in some involvement though, as Rachel is a strong Christian, and both her and my family are heavily involved in The SA (her parents are Corp Officers).
Jayson was dedicated there, I was married there, and I have agreed to go every Christmas Eve (but not Easter - long story).
How Jayson is raised will be a tense issue in the future, as I don't like going to worship services and Rachel wants me to take one for the team.

I voted yes, but realy I have mixed feelings. I was raised Lutheran and all I've learned in that time is how biggoted and hypocritical people can be.
I beleive in a God and teachings of Jesus from a moral and philisophical standpoint. And I do beleive there was something devine about the man.
However I refuse to beleive the "Christian" church and its teachings. Jesus taught love, forgivness and peace, yet the church has turned it into a message of hate.
I also have trouble beleiving in heaven or hell. The entire concept makes no sense to me. I have very mixed feelins about the afterlife so its just something I choose not to think about for the most part.
