Yeah my first was actually a tony hawk from Powell peralta, I bought it used from another kid. after that, all i got was Powell boards.
I remember the santa cruz "slimeball" wheels, I always had to have those. That was before wheels got smaller and harder.....

Yeah lots of skeleton stuff mainly bones.. Hence the Bones brigade like Friday Said. I loved watching Powell movies and the skaters were kickass but the boards back in the day were the most expensive.. I used to love World Industries and Santa Monica Airline boards.. My Favourite board of all time had to be My Jim Thiebaud comic book board.. That was a nice board, followed closely by my World Industries Mike Valley double kick Farmyard board.. I always wanted a New Deal board back in the day they were so nice to ride a few of my freinds had em. I picked Element in the vote but i like a fair few brands.. Etnies, Emerica, Element, Adio of the new kind.. Back in the day it was Airwalk, Vision Street wear, Etnies (when not many folk had heard of em, My Etnies Natas were the best sk8 shoes! H-street, Powell. Have any of you guys seen Shackle Me not or Hokus Pokus (not the s t witch movie ) the sk8 flicks from H-street. Matt Matt Hensly was so rad! I love these lil sk8 threads it reminds me a great times.. goin a lil of topic but its sk8 chat so what the hell.. Of the following which of these flicks have ya seen.. Public Domain Ban This Streets On Fire Wheels On Fire Hokus Pocus Shackle Me Not Street Skating With Rob and Natas Useless Wooden Toys Destroying America Rodney Mullen Vs Daewon Song Speed Freaks Thrashin Gleamin the Cube Ahh Gleamin the cube.. Riding a board that has metal plating griptape.. How fake did that highway Jump look.. Thrashin So cheesy but ya gott love Boz's sk8 cruiser! It looks like an ash tray! DAGGERS! I hated those sons of Bitches! Especially when they burned down that kickass ramp!

Been skating a lot more lately. Got my kickflips, fakie big-spins, kickflip varials, shoves both backside and frontside and fakie, and my manuals and nose manuals on lock. Just started landing fakie backside flips, which look really sick. I guess I re-discovered my love for skating.
I have also been downloading almost all the Powell Peralta videos so I can burn them all on DVD. The Bones Bridade Video Show is such a fun video to watch.
Oh, and The Daggers rule. lol
