I had a problem with seeing the killer to early and often. I think this was filmed in New York and there were some decent scenes and a nice shower shot of some B actress with major league teets. Overall, it was unmemorable. Hanks had charisma even though he shows up late.

A few fans dismissed this film because it has a lot of similarities to Halloween. I, on the other hand enjoyed it.

I remember seeing this one once years ago mainly because I wanted to see Hanks first performance, and I thought it was okay, not the best but not the worst either.

I know there used to be a thread for this film, I can remember discussing it with XN.
I've always loved He Knows You're Alone, it's one of my favorite slashers from the 80's. I thought Caitlin O'Heaney did a great job playing the lead, too bad her career never really took off. Tom Rolfing was the killer, and was pretty creepy.
Atmosphere was being discussed in another thread, and this is a movie that is just dripping with it. If you haven't seen it yet, I'd definitely recommend checking it out.

I like this movie and think the cast is good. I have done some research on the Internet Movie Database (www.imdb.com) and found out that most of the actors are still working, but in live theatre (on stage). The actor who played "Marvin" is a producer/director now ("Royal Pains," "30 Rock").
