Any fans of atmospheric, gothic cinema should check out this neat little movie by Mario Bava. It is a fun ghost story with some really effective chills. www.imdb.com/title/tt0060794/You can find it as part of the Mario Bava Collection, which is out now.

I've heard good things about it. I keep planning on checking out more of Bava's stuff but just haven't gotten around to it yet.

Mario Bava's eccentric style of movie making will forever influence modern day horror, beside hitchcock IMO Bava was the best in his time.
Mario Bava's Twitch of the Death Nerve(Bay of blood) has spawned countless imitations through the 30 years since its release.
Featuring 13 of the most imaginative murders long before Sean Cunningham's Friday the 13th.
Mario Bava was way ahead of his time

I haven't seen Twitch of the Death Nerve yet either, although I've been wanting to for years. It will be interesting to see the movie that influenced Friday the 13th so much.
