Does anyone watch this show? I had seen part of a few episodes but had never watched it regularly until recently. Basically when I found out Jared Padalecki was going to be in the new Friday the 13th. I still don't actually watch it on T.V. yet because I'm not completely caught up on the past episodes. I've gone through the first 2 seasons and have watched the first 3 episodes of the current season. I think it's a great show. I love all the different Monsters, demons, spirits etc. that they have to deal with. Them hunting the Yellow eyed Demon for 2 seasons was great. If you do watch please don't spoil the most recent episodes. But I am curious if anyone else likes the show?

I love this show, especially last season, which I think was particularly good. They have a great story arc going, and the character development is good. Definitely one of my favorites at the moment.

I got into it a few months ago, watching the frst 4 seasons on DVD. Season 5 started before I finished season 4, so I'll have to wait until it's released on DVD.
The show is awesome! I never thought I'd like another show on TV. Every episode is like another horror film. The soundtrack is unbelievably great. So many great bands and artists. Ted Nugent, AC/DC, Boston, Foreigner, James Gang, The Rolling Stones, Van Halen, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Def Leppard, Rush, Bad Company, Black Sabbath, ZZ Top, Free, Iron Butterfly, Scorpions, Bachman-Turner Overdrive, Blue Oyster Cult, Bob Seger, Ozzy Osbourne, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Kansas, Three Dog Night, Cheap Trick, Jefferson Airplane, Styx, THE DOORS, The Animals, The Doobie Brothers, Grand Funk Railroad, Billy Squier etc...
Come on! You can't get a better music soundtrack than that!

It does have some really great music. I loved in a few of the season openers they used the song 'Carry On My Wayward Son'. I love that song. The footage from the show they used to go along with the song was awesome and made me a little emotional. Actually the show has made me emotional a few times. It's rare when a show can do that to me.

I love the horror spirit. I've been a little uneasy lately, though, because I know that Eric Kripke never intended the show to go past 5 seasons. I just don't want the series to end!

That worries me too. But then I remember that Padalecki and Ackles are signed through 6 seasons and the show is getting the best ratings it's ever gotten. So CW must be at the very least considering a 6th season. Hopefully Kripke sees the improved ratings and realizes it'd be worth at least one more season.

Well, that's a bit relieving. When the series is finally done, I'd just love to have a few 100 episodes of Supernatural, at least, to look back on and admire.

Is this a Black Friday deal? That seems awfully cheap for all 4? I saw season 4 in Walmart and it netted over 40 dollars just for one :S

I like the mythology I was unaware that was in American folklore that is specifically used in season 1. Like shouting bloody Mary 3 times in front of a mirror and she comes for you. The lady in white who comes after unfaithful men. etc.
I zipped through all 4 seasons in a couple of months time. Got hooked. And I was amazed at how fresh it kept being. Most shows with age start to wobble all over the place. I am up to speed in season 5. I seriously wish John Winchester would come back at least for something. If there is a season 6(I hope), I hope he is at least in a few episodes for a blast of a series finale. I don't see it going past season 6. You got the Devil now and how much more wicked goes beyond that?

The only way I can see him come back is maybe in the form of God. I think it would be the most logical if they can find a way to get him to come back.
