Count Dracula, by far.
And why? Just look at him, he has the look, the charm, and the personality to boot.

Your favorite classic character and why? Frankensteins Monster Why? Because he is misunderstood from first sight. He will never be accepted by society. He just doesn't fit in anywhere he goes.
Count Dracula and Count Alucard (son of Dracula) Why? Because they will live forever and never grow old. They live in a world without material needs. They are distant from the everyday world and it's people.
The Wolfman Why? Because he is tormented everyday with himself. He was a really nice guy and one night he had a night of bad luck. Since then he has never felt the same and can't stand to be around. He just wants to disappear.

I have to say the Creature and the Wolfman. I love how the creature is playful, kinda like freddy. Tormenting his victims before he kills them. And as for the wolfman, i agree with what Demon said.

Frankenstein and Dracula are truly great, but Wolfman takes the cake for sure. I'm going by the original, never saw the remake.

No one did lol It comes out in Feb 2010 #WolfSmile# And I am so gonna get midnight tickets to that! And to answer the question again, obviously, the Wolfman is my favorite and arguably the greatest horror character ever. (Next to the other big guys)

The Creature From The Black Lagoon! Not really sure why. Always liked his look. Maybe its cause I like sea creatures & alligators. But he has always been my favorite since I was a kid.

If we're talking about mostly the Universal age, probably Dracula, but I was pretty impressed with the Invisible Man when I watched that a few months back. He's hilarious, mean as hell, and kills people with almost no remorse. I was really surprised at the overall tone of it.

Out of all the classic horror characters my favorite would have to be Dracula. Plus Bela Lugosi is one of my favorite classic horror movie actors, an he was by far my favorite actor to play the role of Dracula. With the "supposed" connections between the historical Transylvanian born Vlad III Dracula of Wallachia and Bram Stoker's fictional Dracula, I think it makes Dracula even more interesting than some of the other classic horror characters like Frankenstein, The Wolfman, etc.Picture of (Vlad the Impaler; also known as Vlad Dracula)Mike
