When you see old people do you look and think they are pretty lucky that they got to live for 70 whole years or more?
Or do you feel sorry for them because you know that whether they are safe or not that they ARE going to die very soon?
To put it another way Do you think they are at an advantage because they lived 70 years and you may not... Or do you think they are at a disadvantage because you may see the year 2040 and they wont? What's your perspective?

I think it all depends. If someone dies at age 25 because of drug abuse, well then they held their destiny and they made the wrong decisions and it is unfortunate, but I don't feel sorry for them.
My father just passed away at 76, he lived a long great life.. Not many people can say the same.
I think some people can live to be 80 and the last 20 years could be miserable because of their health. The key is to stay healthy and if you are lucky you can live a very long and productive life.
My perspective on life is.. stay active, stay healthy and be happy..

Wow that sucks...lol i cant see myself old. i want o live a life of happiness and joy.. but now a days is impossible..but i have to make the best of it.. so far I'm happy I'm still alive and not dead yet. i had many people i adored in my life that passed away very young and it makes me so sad that they had to die so young. thats why everyday i thank god for my life and that i made it to another day..i see these old people and i say to myself they lived in a generation were everything was new and life wasn't as bad as it is now . so i dont feel bad for them when they know they will not get to see 2040 . i think they had a better way of life than us..i wont of mind living then..theyre lucky. its just getting worst and worst each day.. trust me they lived a great live...When you see old people do you look and think they are pretty lucky that they got to live for 70 whole years or more yet you can day while you're 28 or so years old?
Or do you feel sorry for them because you know that whether they are safe or not that they ARE going to die very soon?
To put it another way Do you think they are at an advantage because they lived 70 years and you may not... Or do you think they are at a disadvantage because you may see the year 2040 and they wont? What's your perspective?

Life's a garden...dig it.
- Joe Dirt
my perspective on life varies. Only because Im constantly wondering if God really exists. Does he? I dont know. I'd love to know, and I hope he does. But there are some doubts. I guess Im just hanging around the wrong crowd who have a horrible perspective on life. I hate wondering everyday if Im actually going somewhere after I die, or if I just rot. I hate a lot of stuff in life. Like how we only have an average of 75 years to live. I hate thinking about my parents passing on which I hope wont happen for 40 years. Life is only 75 years long, so, why not do what you want? Sometimes I feel like quitting everything and just watching movies for the rest of my life. Which will never happen. I can dream can't I? I just wish I knew more about what Im living then just wondering what else is out there.

I absolutely agree when there comes to different perspectives on this. I have mixed feelings. I think your lucky if you can live for a couple generations when people are dying every day at different ages. On the other hand I feel bad for older people that have been geniunely good all their life but since their spouses have passed they're all alone. Their family doesn't give them the time of day and they need someone to care for them. I need someone to explain this to me? I've always been one more for loving and caring instead of hatred and selfishness. If this is the type of thing I have to look forward to if I would live to be that old I can honestly say I want no part of it. As far as myself goes I think it's definitely important when it comes to how you choose to live your life. All decisions we make will have consequences we'll have to deal with in one form or another throughout our lives. You just have to have a positive attitude and hope things will work out for the best. I've changed dramatically over the last year for the better. I'm exploring new things now that I wouldn't have before. This is making me enjoy life more through its ups and downs rather than living in a shell. I have some of you people to thank for that.

You're born, and you might as well do something, but what that something is is up to you, whether it be influenced by personal preference or religious beliefs.
I could explain this much deeper and further, but alas my fingers would be throbbing in pain from typing so much, so perhaps I'll type it at another time.

I don't see death as a bad thing but i see pain as a bad thing. If your happy and healthy and want to live than its good that your alive. If your old and sick and lonely than death is a relese.
note:I'm not encouraging sucide I'm just looking at death optimisticly.

I don't feel bad that old people won't get to see years that I will. They got to see a bunch of years I didn't. Like the Muscle Car era.
