I cannot believe I watched this movie! I saw it on FearNet over the weekend. You guys (males) might like it because of the "T and A" and "boobs and blood." It is truly a horror-comedy. I think that Robert Englund and Lin Shaye are reasons why I watched this movie. College students are on their way to Florida for Spring Break, get lost and end up in a Georgia town with 2001 maniacs! Here is the trailer: www.youtube.com/watch?v=w6pk1x9s6YgHere is a scene where horses pull a woman apart. a guy attaches both her arms and legs to four horses. WARNING: It is gross (well, in the movie it is worse): www.youtube.com/watch?v=QjwwyYFNspw

It was a nice surprise no doubt. Good gore and inventive kills and the plot decent enough to keep your attention. One of the better direct to video movies of the last 5 years.
Englund does a good job as well.
They're working on a sequel.

Yeah, I read there was going to be a sequel. I didn't realize this first movie was a remake.

Sure was. The original one was 1964's 'Two Thousand Maniacs!,' directed by 'Godfather of Gore' Herschell Gordon Lewis.
