I got the complete series for Christmas. I've only just now finished watching the whole set. I do think though, with season 4, the double length episodes were a bit much. The half hour format suits it so much better. Less padding. But i did really enjoy that S4 episode on the naval ship. The final revelation was quite chilling.

I agree most of those hour long episodes didn't do the trick. That was the network's idea not Serling's. They should have just let him be in a number of different ideas and the show would have had an even better run. They eventually soured him. That was a great revelation on the ship, a typical twist ending that they did so well. Scary thought, eternity.

Obbessed with this show right now, The black and white just gives it that great surreal feel and the intro is just a classic. My favorite episode is Nightmare at 20,000 ft !

that's an amazing episode. I bought the whole series back in January of 2011 and still havn't finshed every single episode, I have about 40 to go. It's one of my top 5 favorite shows of all time, during the 4th of July and New Years I' always have SyFy on for the marathons.
My favorite episode would have to be To Serve Man, talk about the twist ending of twist endings but there are so many great ones to choose from

Still obsessed with this show. I finally got my first blu-rays for Season 2, eventually I will have all of them on all formats. It's pretty cool that they are on netlfix now also, everywhere I go I can watch them with the phone app. Such a great show, there was a marathon today too.
