I just got word that Brian Adams aka "Crush" has died. I was told WWE.com will have more info as it is released.

All of them seem to be dieing out these days.

I remember when he debuted as Crush. I also remember when he became a face and became a Hawaiian version. That was pretty silly.

He had drug problems.
He was busted a few times.

Yeah, seems I recall him being arrested on steroid charges a few years ago. Shame he's no longer with us though, I enjoyed him in the ring.

I've heard about the drugs thing too. I think he had other problems too where he got violent with a fan once. It's a shame that So many wrestlers from that era had/have drug problems. But it's not too surprising. They had a lot more dates to work then.

I agree, and even now they have a high profile pay per view every month as oppose to two or three a year back then. Being a wrestler is very tough. Being away from your family and having to be at your best at any given night. It seems most fall prey to the drugs and don't even realize they have a problem until it is too late. This is such a shame for the wrestling world.
