Well I heard that there has been talk about rebuilding the Twin Towers. Which I think is great. They talk about making a Freedom Tower in place of both towers which shows out freedom of America. DO you think they should build that building or just stay with lights shining high every night? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freedom_TowerThey already started and it is planned for the 2011 release.

I think they should build the towers again instead of that.

yeah, I think they should build that in D.C. like a memorial type thing. But they are also doing 6 more towers to replace the old ones. This tells the terrorists that you might have knocked down some towers. But we will just come up and build bigger ones.

I like the whole idea of the Liberty tower, they should have it when you walk in there's a memorial for all the 9/11 victims
also having it 1,776 feet tall is a perfect idea

I can't believe how long it's taken to get the building going. And how long they think it will take to finish. It will be the 10th Anniversary by the time they finish. There's a much taller building being built in Dubai that has been going up at an incredible pace. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Burj_Dubai

I don't mind them rebuilding, but calling it "Freedom Tower" or "Liberty Tower" stings me in a way I cannot describe accurately, it almost seems like they're only calling it that to remove any suspicion or doubt on what actually happened to those buildings.
But if I had a choice, I'd say keep the lights. One of the key factors in 9/11 happening was we had gotten so comfortable with ourselves, and so numb to the outside world, we overlooked and ignored threats against us, which I think will happen again if we build another tower as the reminder won't be there. I say give it 10 years, we'll groan about 9/11 like we do most holidays.
