I just read an article online that clearly expressed how 29% of high school kids today have HiV. Teens are in the highest risk of contracting the disease now. Where are these kids spending there nights? An estimated 4,883 young people received a diagnosis of HIV infection or AIDS, representing about 13% of the persons given a diagnosis during that year. HIV infection progressed to AIDS more slowly among young people than among all persons with a diagnosis of HIV infection. The following are the proportions of persons in whom HIV infection did not progress to AIDS within 12 months after diagnosis of HIV infection:
* 81% of persons aged 15–24 * 70% of persons aged 13–14 * 61% of all persons
Thoughts?
I think it's best when dating someone for the first time to get checked out before you screw.
Look, they have Rapid HiV tests now,you can get the results in 15 minutes.
Check before you screw.Thats what i would do.
If the person tests positive and you negative..just let them know how sorry you are and f*cking run as fast as you can out that clinic.

Kids are maturing way faster then they did when I was a kid, and even physically developing faster, so it isn't surprising that we are seeing so many instances of STD's and unplanned pregnancies.
They are also saturated with sexual images, many of which show no consequences for casual encounters.
Protection is a must these days if one feels the need to go about this behavior.

I don't believe that 92% of teens have HiV, I just don't buy that. I read an in depth article that said 33 million people in the world have HIV or AIDS, 1 in 20 people in America have it, most are African American women 24-35. I also read that 50 million kids are in High School, so half of them would have to have HIV or AIDS to cover the WORLD population with it. Is there an article for this? Sorry, I don't buy that nearly EVERY High School kid has HIV. That would put us FAR ahead of parts of Africa where 45% of the population has it. "45 states reported ALMOST 45,000" Sorry, that figure would have to be in the millions for some states to coincide with the 92%. Young people make up 32% of cases in America... 61% of people doesn't have it. I think this article was bunk. Condoms are for losers? That is the mentality that drives these numbers way up to begin with. People can fire false negatives for many years, have the virus and be spreading it meanwhile. Making your partner get tested only gives you false comfort- if you are promiscuous be a man and wear a condom. www.advocatesforyouth.org/publications/factsheet/fshivaid.htm

I guess I'm lucky in never having got it. All but 3 of the people I've been with were without condoms. But then again most of them were virgins so I felt pretty safe. Not that I have to worry about it anymore I have sex so rarely I'm safe unless HIV becomes an airborne disease. LOL

I agree, real men don't wear condoms #63zrwi# lol No seriously though, I almost never do. I would say I literally wear a condom with 50% of the women I have been with. To me wearing a condom is like coating your mouth in plastic and eating food. Completely blocking out the enjoyable taste. What's the point? If you don't know who you're with, then don't f*ck um. Not knowing your partner is your stupidity.

I agree with scabboy and i take back what i said earlier. If you're promiscuous then its a good idea to use condoms until you're absolutely sure your partner is clean. Its very true that sometimes the HiV virus could lay dormant for many years and give off false test results.
Kyle, I wouldn't give up entirely on finding someone special. But when you do just be safe .

;D I'm sorry man, I'm just not on the same page as scabboy. I am used to banging girls I KNOW for YEARS in a row...
Maybe he doesn't... so he can't understand that when I do it, I do it right. Besides Catholics say that God told them not to use a condom. I can't very well deny God can I? #cool23#

Condoms work in some cases, but I don't like them either.
They have been around in various forms for centuries.
I don't needed them 99.9% of the time though.
The pill is what we use, although that still isn't effective, seeing as we have a four year old son despite her being on it.

Before I was married - I very very rarely wore condoms.
But then again - I didn't screw strange chicks. Just girls I had known for awhile.
If I didn't know a girl that well and we decided to get down and I wanted to get off- I'd just have her give me a blowjob.
Which is probably the reason I dont have any illegitimate bastard children running around to this day ;-)
