Montag the Magnificent (Glover) is a master illusionist who performs at underground venues, selecting female volunteers from his rave-like audiences. To their hysteria, it appears he's dismembered their bodies, but his sleigh of hand has fooled them. However, female bodies show up dead from the same wounds performed on stage. Investigators are baffled, and the chase to find the killer begins. Crispin Clover (Dead f*ck from Friday 4) really delivered a creepy performance as the mad wizard.Highly recommended if you're into gore and suicide girls.

I remember hearing about this. There was always something holding it up. It's nice to hear it was finally made. Glover is always entertaining.

I'm a huge Glover and Phillips fan. I put this one on late at night when I was drunk and fell asleep. Haven't re-watched it yet. What I saw was OK.
Nothing spectacular but Glover is definitely mesmerizing .....
I really need to rewatch this from start to finish.
