Never Trust A Corpse It was a time of ghouls, ghosts and most ghastly of all, the fine art of grave robbing. Dominic Monaghan of LORD OF THE RINGS and LOST stars as 19th century corpse snatcher Arthur Blake, who pilfered the cemeteries and coffins of England until his capture by police. But just before Blake is to meet the hangman s noose, he will confess to a peculiar priest (Ron Perlman of HELLBOY and SONS OF ANARCHY) his gruesome tale of vampires, zombies and cadaver dealing that takes him from the savagery of the criminal underworld to the terrors of the undead. Producer Larry Fessenden (WENDIGO, THE LAST WINTER) and Angus Scrimm (PHANTASM) co-star in this deliriously grisly and hilarious homage to foggy graveyards, bloody mayhem and the golden age gothic horror. Look,i'm not a fan of too many Horror comedies with exception to a few chosen classics (Return of the living dead and a few others).I prefer my horror as brutal and gory as possible (and good ghost stories). So when i went into I sell the dead i wasn't too excited because i knew ahead of time that i was watching a horror comedy. Well guess what,i absolutely loved this movie. The acting was extremely good with Angris scrimm and Ron Perlman ( damn good actor). The comedy was tolerable because it was backed up by good acting. The blood and atmosphere is what i really liked about this one too. They really did a good job convincing the audience that this story takes place in medieval England.
Pretty fun horror comedy flick.
P.S. That Alien kicked ass. ;D

Yes, Angus Scrimm sure isn't getting any younger. I really wish they would stop dragging their feet on Phantasm's End or whatever they want to cll the final movie of the series they've been talking about for so long now. They really better get it done while he's still alive.

He's 83. He's looking pretty old too. But I think he could still pull off the movie at least judging by his episode of Masters of Horror. Like Chainsaw I hope they do make the final Phantasm. It's long overdue. As for I sell the Dead. I haven't seen it yet. But I did finally find an online place to watch it. I've been looking forward to it ever since it was announced.

I saw this recently. It's not terrible. I could everybody enjoyed what they were doing. And as always I love Angus Scrimm. Strangely this movie is over 70% on Rotton Tomatoes which is RARE RARE RARE for a horror movie now a days.
And YES I want a final Phantasm. The last one ended in a cliffhanger. DO IT WHILE ANGUS IS ALIVE. He said in an interview a year ago he would love to do a final one if Don would just do it already!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
