I kind of doubt it will actually happen but RZ asked on his blog what movie the fans want to see him do next and that was one of the four choices.spookshowinternational.blogspot.com/

Yeah, he is just saying nice things to his fans.
Of course, he could be filmed taking a dump and they would buy it three times on Blu-Ray.

Wasn't Devils Rejects a sequel to House of a 1000 corpses?

Yes, just with a completely different tone.

Thought so. So wouldn't calling it The Devils Rejects 2 be kinda redundant?

One alternate title for it is House Of 1000 Corpses 2: The Devil's Rejects.
We all know that RZ has a fascination with the TCM movies, so it is no surprise that he did a reversed situation of the first two films in the series.
The first one was scary and the second one was campy, while 1000 Corpses was campy and TDR was more serious.

I think Rob wants to make TCM real bad.

He already has, but under different titles. I really hope that this is just a silly poll on his part, as TDR is the only film of his that I like and the ending was really well done. A sequel would ruin that.

Rob is currently working on a film called Tyranasaurus Rex starring Danny trejo and his wife I think this poll was for sh*ts and giggles

He has been trying to sell that to studios for years now, but according to someone in the know, they aren't taking the bait, hence H2 being made.
There is also his ongoing tour and this Blob remake that he is supposedly doing, even though I haven't heard a thing about it since the initial announcement.

LOL! Very true!
I really doubt this will happen, if for no other reason than the fact that alll the characters were killed in the ending of Rejects. I really hope he lets those 2 films be since I think they complement each other well and work but if he started doing sequels I think they would become too mainstream.

There's enough of a backstory to HO1K and TDR to do a prequel, but I too want it left alone. Zombie could ruin anything at this point...

Rob being himself brings in less revenue, just look at H2, TDR and 1000 Corpses.
In order for him to get bigger numbers, he has to do remakes or more mainstream projects.

I think it wouldn't have mattered who direced Halloween it probably would have still made money. I seriously think he should do something like HO1KC again, that was the one movie that was totally his style and not over the top in vulgarity. Just my opinion.

I have never seen any but you really MEAN there is NOT that much vulgarity in that movie? It took me 3 nights of shutting off my computer to get through his version of Halloween it was so out of line.
I don't see him getting any revenue in the theaters again. Audiences know what they will be getting and hopefully won't be fooled.

There honestly should be no way for a DR sequel. The Firefly Clan was shot to death. Unless they decided to go for a cheesy scene that shows the police at the barricade were somehow able to get them to a hospital in time to save them. But that would be shitty writing on par with how they explained Michael didn't die at the end of Halloween H20. Actually now that I think of it that would fit Zombie's style of hack writing. Plus he obviously has no problem with screwing up a franchise. I would hope the fact it would screw up his own might make him think twice about it. DR had a pretty damn good ending. Especially for a Rob Zombie film. Hopefully this is just a joke poll and he isn't seriously considering it.
