What are currently your biggest (serious or humorous) fears, in terms of any object/s, sound/s, (real and/or horror film based) person/s or entity, that still terrify and scare you in real life and please say why.

Spiders, I have no clue what started that fear. Just scared spitless of them. Heights. I do ok with heights if I feel secure. But heights in the open scare the crap out of me. I know where that fear came from. When I was little my older Brother was fixing something on the roof. I climbed the ladder with no problem. But when it was time to get down he picked me up and passed me to a friend of his on the ladder. So the only thing keeping me from hitting the ground was my Brother and his friends grips. It scared me so bad I nearly pissed myself. Ever since then I can't climb a ladder more than 4 or 5 feet without shaking. Cool idea for a thread.

That would be heights, but in a different way.
I can sit on the glass floor of the CN Tower, but a second floor balcony freaks me out.

The being alone thing isn't so much a fear for me, as it is a certainty. ;D

I know this is a late reply, but I just had to chime in. My biggest phobia is rather a joke. Im afraid of band-aids. I think that was brought on by when a friend of mine got a hamburger from Burger King an bit into her sandwich an found a band-aid on it. Egh..

That happened to a friend of mine about 20 years ago, but it happened at Hardee's.

My biggest fear is the average American consumer with his/her first credit card, for reasons that are obvious.
You can stop laughing now.

I would definitely have to say my biggest fear right now is going to College, considering I've been away from any formal type of classroom setting for over 4 years, its very intimidating and new to me

That is going to be tough, I can relate in some ways. Especially being away from the settings for over 4 years. Fitting right back in, the feel isn't that great & the work also. I wish you all the best Doomsday.
