They are noticable, but I think the film must have felt relly watered down without them. I only ever seen the uncut version so I can't vouch for the original one. I personally love the antler impalement scene it's pretty impressive when you take in the context of the budget.

I've seen them all but here is my first two reviews: The Second is God awful and the Third is God awful. The forth strangely is better with a different plot and I consider the fifth the second best "The Toymaker". IT takes itself seriously for a freaking change Silent Night Deadly Night& Silent Night Deadly Night 2

The second sequel is the WORST of the five movies. Oddly the fifth one about killer toys is the second best.

I was always intrigued by the cover of this movie when we would go rent movies as a child. I never watched it until I was an adult though.
