BEWARE THE DEMON FORCES OF THE...BLOOD BEASTS A deranged killer lives in the basement of an old mansion and pops out occasionally to commit grisly murders that include be-headings, ripped throats, and stabbings with a fireplace poker. The killer needs fresh body parts to rejuvenate his cells. He also has maggots for blood. I probably seen this movie about 10 or 15 times. When i first saw it it didn't really grab me like it did the second and third times i watched it.
This is a really good movie, the dub over voices got frustrating the first time i watched it (especially the boys voice) but after seeing it 2 or 3 times i really feel in love with the cinematography and spooky house, especially the basement and cemetery.
Lucio Fulci was a horror master indeed. Comments?

Own it and watched it one time, it was very confusing and don't think it made sense. But I liked the gore and the atmosphere.

The best thing about the movie was the DVD cover. I had to fast forward through some of it to make it through the movie.

I was the same as you XN, I wasn't the biggest fan the first time I saw it. However, upon seeing it a few more times, I like it more.

Sure it isn't perfect, but it has good atmosphere and top notch makeup and gore FX. #24# You don't show it very often. But when you show your sense of humor it's priceless!

I've only seen this once but it is a good flick. The kid called Bob is freaking weird.

Fulci often placed the focus on imagery, and this is a good example.

You have no idea, I just can't keep up with it, I've become aware of so many new horror films since I joined CLAD.

I first saw it when I was 17 after someone loaned me their VHS of it. This really dates me now. My first DVD of it was $3.99 at Wal-Mart and my second one was part of the Walking Dead Fright Pack. It shouldn't be too hard to find for a reasonable price.

The kids voice doesn't bother me anymore.

I hate the DVD poster art. I much prefer the Vestron cover and I much prefer my review House by the Cemetery
