Just watched it for the first time today.
Overall, a pleasant surprise! Nice location, cool house, good rooms and some woods plus a well. The setting was cool and I liked the various gadgets in the house. And, most importantly, Amy Steel was in it. As was the guy who played "Biff" in Back to the Future, plus the guy who rode the limo with George and Jerry on the way to Madison Square Garden when George was pretending to be the nazi communist. Has anyone else seen this, and what are your thoughts? I heard there was a remake about a year ago, but I don't remember seeing it.

I remember first seeing this with my cousins' when my sister and I had to visit my dad's family in the country. Its such a classic. The ending of the remake is funny but the movie is definitely not in this one's league.

I've seen this one a couple of times, I enjoy it until it gets to the ending. I hate endings like this one it just kills (no pun intended) the whole movie for me.

Not a bad one at all. I atually enjoyed the ending as it was really different for the time. If it nly would have had more gore, it could have been a classic.Overall I give it 6/10. My standard decent 80's slasher grade lol.

I agree with you Dave, the ending was something new and I was fond of it. It was a fun little film, and with April Fool's Day coming up soon, I need to give it a watch. The remake I haven't seen, but I've heard nothing but bad things.

It's a good flick, I probably watch it once every 2 years I'd say. I'm iffy about the ending to be honest, I thought it brought it down a notch, even though it was different from the standard slasher fare of the 80's by that point. The film is still very enjoyable though, I'd probably give it a 7/10.

IMDB:www.imdb.com/title/tt0090655/PLOT:A group of nine college students staying at a friend's remote island mansion begin to fall victim to an unseen murderer over the April Fool's day weekend. CAST:Jay Baker as Harvey Edison, Jr. Deborah Foreman as Muffy/Buffy St. John Deborah Goodrich as Nikki Brashares Ken Olandt as Rob Ferris Griffin O'Neal as Skip St. John Leah Pinsent as Nan Youngblood Clayton Rohner as Chaz Vyshinski Amy Steel as Kit Graham Thomas F. Wilson as Arch Cummings MY TAKE ON THE FILM:It has that type of feel like Friday the 13th does. A 1986 classic that shape into what I expected. The settings was great. Its just one of those classic slasher that deserve a viewing. I have to say a great cast= powerhouse of the cell. As we all know Amy Steel is an amazing cast as displayed in Friday the 13th part 2. Overall I really enjoyed watching April Fool's Day. I know alot of people despise the ending, but to me the film itself was just great. 8.5/10 *I have a 720p HDTV Netflixrip If anyone Is Interested.

I think this movie is great. The remake is ok. I remember a cousin telling us about it and we rented the movie back when I had to visit my dad and his family in the country. Good times.

One of my favourite movies of all time. It really reminds me of the And Then There Were None book In my opinion this is clever & brilliant. It really plays a trick on the viewers, the ending may be controversial, but I loved it.
