I'm fairly surprised this was not a thread on this section. I looked through all 11 and did not see it anywhere. This is a classic with great musical score by John Carpenter. Great acting and great plot. I have not seen the remake of this movie. I'll let yall all decide whoever has seen it to convince me otherwise because I have read some pretty bad reviews of the remake. But the original is the best What are yall's thoughts on this movie?

I always love watching this one. The atmosphere is what does it for me and how spooky and creepy the fog looks moing along the ground.
I haen't seen the remake either, but I haven't heard anything poisitve about it either. I'm just going to wait until its on tv and watch it that way the first time, before I take a chance and shell out any money for it.

I actually preferred the remake over the original. I found the original kind of on the boring side.

I wouldn't say that. I don't get some of these gasps of disbelief. ;D Some of you already know I prefer the Halloween and Amityville remakes over the originals as well. To each his own I suppose.
