At least that's one thing that right about it. I mean a PG-13 Hellraiser just wouldn't be plausible if they wanted to recapture the feel of the original. All we would end of gett ing is another watered down hollywood horror movie.

That is great news. When i heard they wanted to go PG-13 I was disgusted. Glad the plan has changed.

This looks like good news but if Dimension wants it to be PG-13 then it will most likely remain that way. Also, you could probably expect this movie to be 3D as well considering that Lussier and Farmer both worked on My Bloody Valentine 3D, the upcoming Nic Cage film Drive Angry 3D and also developing Halloween 3D

They just said it "might be". I didn't read any other news report that said otherwise. So that PG-13 could still happen. Them saying it "doesn't look like it" isnt' a set in stone. Neither Horror Bid nor Bloody Disgusting has that said.
Bear in mind screenwriter Tod Farmer WROTE Jason X. He wrote that aside from the My Bloody Valentine remake. This may be 3D too >_> They tend to write just amusing movies. Not masterpieces and doesn't add much. Just kinda ... there. And without my home dog Doug Bradley I'll be highly annoyed.

This and Piranha 3DD could set Halloweeen 3D (which is going nowhere) back even further.
As was the case with Freddy, it might be time to get used to a new Pinhead.

I was fine with a new Freddy and I'm fine with a new Pinhead. All that matters to me is that he looks right and they do a good job casting the part. Todd Farmer just tweeted in response to a question on if it will be PG13. "It's called Hellraiser not Fluffyraiser." So I'm guessing the writing at least will be aiming for an R rating.

That is good to hear.
It will probably be in 3D as well, which could be interesting with chains flying everywhere.
