Now here is a movie I bet some of yall haven't seen either. It's not a slasher even though it looks like one. The cover art is stand out. It's a UK supernatural horror film. It's basically about 5 shipwrecked teens on an Island find a hotel decorated for New Years and strange things happening. It's like the Shining Meets the Evil Dead, why you ask? the dead here are like the dead in Evil Dead, random things come alive like the woods, coverings over tables, things in mirrors, people in the house randomly possessed, the list is endless. Shining as in spirits in the house and its a hotel. It's actually pretty damn entertaining oddly if you ignore the bore that is the first 10 minutes. It picks up after that. Pretty good for low budget and the director Norman J. Warren is known for low budget trashy movies in the late 70s. Pros: - Entertaining -Entertaining special affects -It keeps you awake - Likable bad actors Cons: -Plot holes in lots of places -Blah beginning -Strange storyline we learn at the end as to why this is happening. So yeah pick up this strange gem, Academy home entertainment. It's different that's for sure. Amusement galore! Has a 4.2 on IMDB. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars.

I think it was also known as Time Warp Terror, I never bothered with it myself.I've heard nothing but terrible things about it. Although I did enjoy Warren's earlier films, Terror and Satan's Slave,so maybe I should give it a chance one day.

Hmm. I don't consider it terrible. I have seen worst things trustttttttt me. I think New Year's Evil is more dull than this one is. This one TRIES. Those other two movies you mentioned by him Terror has a 5.0 on IMDB and "Satan's Slave" a 4.0 and Bloody New Year has a 4.2 so they must not be so bad you can't watch them I still recommend. It's different and tries
