This is due to come out on October 8th, and it looks pretty good.
Summary: In the sleepy town of Riverton, legend tells of a serial killer who swore he would return to murder the seven children born the night he died. Now, 16 years later, people are disappearing again. Has the psychopath been reincarnated as one of the seven teens, or did he survive the night he was left for dead? Only one of the kids knows the answer.
Adam "Bug" Heller (Max Thierot) was supposed to die on the bloody night his father went insane. Unaware of his dad’s terrifying crimes, he has been plagued by nightmares since he was a baby. But if Bug hopes to save his friends from the monster that’s returned, he must face an evil that won’t rest ... until it finishes the job it began the day he was born.

Looking forward to this one. In the trailer that last shot looks like its from the bed scene from NIghtmare on Elm Street. So many things coming out in October!

www.bloody-disgusting.com/news/21564Here is an image of the Killer in "My Soul to Take". Seriously doesn't look too bad. At least its more original than the remakes. This has been a horrid year or horror movies so far this year >_>

I saw a movie title in the thrift store today that I really think said "Abraxis" or something close to it as the title. It made me happy

I'm way behind on upcoming horror since I don't have internet at home, I just saw the preview for this today. I think it looks pretty good. Hopefully it won't disappoint.

It is getting trashed by both critics and theater goers, not mention doing badly at the box office.

I'm not gonna see it. It looks like he combined A Nightmare on Elm Street and Shocker just without Freddy krueger or Horace Pinker.

Just saw it, it was okay. A few character relationships made absolutely no seance. Overall a good movie though. Tiffany and I really enjoyed it for the most part. I wasnt too crazy about the ending though. Hoping for something better.

Good to know. The way everybody in the reviews were talking it was like the worst thing ever and I had high doubts on that being the case!

Oh yeah, I really glad I didn't go and see it then, the theatre near me was only showing it in 3D and I would have been very upset if I had to pay extra for basically nothing. I'll probably wait and pick this up on dvd.

I just thought it was ok. I was expecting a lot more and really disappointed. I think this is the worst horror movie I've seen this year.

You know, this movie is so bad that its actually good. ;D Kinda like Troll 2. You have to acquire a taste for this kind of shit. I think Wes Craven purposely wanted to make the worst horror movie possible and he succeeded.

I don't know about that. I read a interview saying he wants to actually retire from directing after the bad reviews he got from this
