So far, so good from what I've seen. I am still holding out hope that this is a return to form for RZ]

I gotta say, this is probably the last shot I'll give Zombie. I'm justifying by telling myself this is the first "original" material he has done in over 7 years and since I loved The Devil's Rejects, maybe he'll be able to craft something good when he's left to his own devices.
Not thinking about this movie too much, but when I do, I'm cautiously interested.

I feel the same way when it comes to Zombie. I really enjoyed House and rejects, but slowly lost interest in his taste with the Halloween movies.Hopefully LoS is a good watch.

Either way, it is an interesting idea, the little we know about the movie at least. I suppose it's all about how it's executed at this point.
I read somewhere it may go direct to dvd, but I don't know how true that is.

I'm definitely looking forward to it. I've recently gained an appreciation for Zombie's Halloween films but still prefer Ho1TC and especially DR. So I'm looking forward to another film by Zombie that doesn't have any baggage attached to it.

It is nice to see him working with non-franchise material again. The people behind it made the Paranormal Activity movies and Insidious, so this will be a low budget affair, which could be a benefit. If IMDb is to be trusted, they are only spending $1.5 million to produce it.
