Frickken Awesome movie! I loved it! That half burned faced dude was sweet.. He kinda reminded of the sniper in Saving Private Ryan! great character! And that truck was Awesome! blasting down the zombies and flaring of the flowershow was Awesome... The zombies in it were pretty sweet and it had all the traditionall jumpy scenes with the zombies jumping out or appearing outta nowhere Awesome! Plus Tom Savinis appearance was sweet! I tried to look out for Mr Pegg and Edgar Wright, Actor and Director of Shaun of the Dead but i didnt catch em.. I noticed there names on the credits and what roles they played and they were the Photobooth zombies!! So i'll look out for them when i get the DVD. Only downside was the garage attendent who was the main cleva zombie.. That was a bit lame but he didnt put me of the movie .. He ruled in parts but in general I didnt like him, with his roaring with anger parts and the whole using a gun thing.. That was cheesy and the movie didnt need those parts ... At one point where he uses the Jack hammer drill thing and it stops working i thought he was going to shut down the citys power supply It was well made out that he figured out that the Jack hammer needed power to run! ;D In all though Awesome movie!

It was pretty good, but it just doesn't feel like GAR.

How ridiculous the ending was, all of a sudden theyre showing compasssion to the zombies.
Just let them go, all they wanna do is live or something like that was said, thats stupid.Theyre flesh eating monsters not something to feel compassionate about.

I agree, I was very surprised G.A.R. made those pretty important mistakes on his outlook of zombies this time around. He thought about it too much when he wrote it. Way to much.

I did get that either. isn't their goal to kill them so they can be free from this nightmare they're living in a world of diseases with zombies.. i didn't get the ending either but loved the zombies and the scary sceneries..

I really liked it, but it was no Dawn Of The Dead 1978.
I am getting the unrated widescreen DVD on Tuesday after work.

I bought the dvd as soon as it came out. Great bonus features, esp. When Shaun met George....hillarious!

Its definitely not the best Romero zombie flick, but it still holds its own.
The cgi was something we Romero fans were not use to seeing,so it shocked us when we saw it.The story IMO was good, and the world around the few survivors seemed realistic.
I also enjoyed seeing Asia Argento in the film.
I liked it.

In horror, the movie has to be really really bad for me to say " i don't like it"
Garbage like Jason x,creepshow 3,Zombieween and death 4 told.
I even love the bad 80's horror movies, its just something about how they were made, all 80's horror is good.
Basically i love all horror starting from 1922.Just a few i can't stand.

It has grown on me since that initial viewing in the theater, but damn was this disappointing or what? I'm sorry, but the quality is nowhere that of the first three. It is a good film though.
I still haven't seen Diary, but I've heard from a few people I trust that ol' Georgie has lost it. I'm still eager to see it for myself, but I sometimes find it hard to believe someone could lose that much over the years.

Kaufman was actually the first person in the Dead series to say the word "zombie." Wow

See Diary. I didn't like Land either but Diary is good. George hasn't lost it completely yet. I think he realized the mistakes he made with Land and corrected them for Diary.
Next Tuesday it will be out. That and the new 40th Anniversary DVD of NOTLD. Pretty psyched about Tuesday myself.
